I really hope there is a season five (Cross fingers)
New episode! This episode left me a little angry of how unfair some people were with Natsume since they believe he is a liar and as usual Natsume forgives them in the end and also helps them. As for the ending. I believe that Youkai left a curse or something similar on Natsume? Can't wait for next week.
Wow, a three-parter. That Mushimajiggy freaked me out so much in the manga. (Damn it, I don't even remember how they're going to get rid of that Mushithingy.) I really can't hate Miyoko, even though I probably should. Her parents are really nice, but they pity Takashi. Not all of his guardians before the Fujiwaras hated him, but he still could never form a family bond with any of them.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yeah, you're right. I guess I was biased about Natsume that I forgot that most people can't see youkais and the natural reaction of "normal" people to Natsume behaviour is to think that he is crazy or something. Natsume had it bad, while growing up.
I really hope it get's a season five it's been getting more attention now than I've seen it ever get.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI hope so too, but I'm also a fan of letting good things end rather than go on until it's imporrible to keep track of everything. Well, 52 episodes (at the end of this season) isn't too bad yet and 65 is a good number. (I'm assuming it will get a fifth season.)

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. It's really only bad with you binge it 24-26 episode every year or two isn't that bad of a deal.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comThis series makes me cry so much.
i. hear. a. sound.Same, here. This anime has made me cry more than anything other.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comTrue, It was a very sad episode...to me the part were Nyanko sensei found the drawing of Natsume family was really moving, since they were all smiling and happy.
Oh, shoot! I forgot this is the last episode of the season. Gonna cry. There had really better be a season five. T_T
(Totally unimportant, but that food in the beginning looked delicious.)
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Just found out my local con (AB) is holding an official screening of a few episodes of season 4 subbed, while it's no season five it is a chance to meet local fans of Natsume which is nice, cause almost nobody I've meet IRL loves this show as much as me XD
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comApologies for the double post but I found that both Nastume Yujinchou and it's mangaka have official twitter accounts so I figured I'd share them. Both seem pretty active, and Yuki's account has a few Word of God statements.
Also the con was fun I saw like 2-3 Natsume related cosplays.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comAlmost nobody is still somebody. I tried to get an anime-fan friend of mine to watch it, and we watched the first four episodes together, but even then she didn't continue watching it on her own. -_- *

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I know one IRL friend that's into it but she perverts everything, and I want Natsume to remain pure in my heart :(
Also epic fan art.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot., Epic Fanart, indeed.
An entire Deviant Art group devoted to Natsume fan art [1]
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comThere's a fair amount of fanart on tumblr as well, lots of repostings of art from Pixiv (and it appears EVERYONE went nuts over the Moon-Spliting arc outfits, so much fanart @_@ )
If it has a plot then I have something to say about it!I understand the obsession with the Houdzuki and Fuzuki masks (because they're obviously super cool and deserve to be drawn and cosplayed), but I will never understand how the black Nyanko-sensei became such an Ensemble Dark Horse, especially in merchandizing.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. Now, I've not really read the thread (as there might be spoilers, and I'm paranoid about those), but anyway. For some reason, I've only watched the second season of this series. Not sure why I didn't start with the first, but oh, well.
Anyway, for some reason, I just really liked that tree youkai in episode 4 of the second season. Something about her was just so pleasant and serene.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Ya tumblr is full of all the good Natsume fan art, and now it's all trending toward Deviant art and more people over there are picking up the series and making even more fan art.
It seems both of my favorite more obscure anime are getting more recognition or at least more fan art. :)
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comSo I read the most recent manga arc, chapters 52-54. Wow...a lot of chilling revelations and occurrences. Spoilers ahead.
The exorcist clans are being targeted by a horrifying ayakashi that takes the form of a mask and possesses people. Matoba repeatedly tries to get Natsume to join his clan, and Natsume follows his orders helps to take care of the mask ayakashi, but not for Matoba, but so that he can learn to protect the people he cares about. Both Natori and Matoba have many enemies in the exorcist community. And in the end, it turns out Natori was watching Natsume's progress all along, and it was he who prevented Natsume from reading Matoba's long letter. Darn it Natori! I really want to know what it said!
I used to hate Matoba, but now I can stand him. He's become a very interesting character. And he wears a suit well.
Matoba wants to use Natsume, whereas Natori admittedly started out that way but now he wishes he hadn't gotten Natsume involved with exorcists and only wishes to help/protect Natsume. Sweet. Parental Substitute much?
The creepiest thing about this arc was Matoba casually mentioning a possible explanation for why Natori's lizard youkai won't move to his left leg. He's going to lose the leg someday.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Excuse me, while I catch up
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comHow many episodes does Tanuma show up in anyway? And Taki? They really don't get nearly enough screen time.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
Damn, I was waiting all season for that to happen, I didn't even have time to grab tissues I had to bury my head into a pillow for a few minutes. I almost broke my glasses too.
The next episode was my favorite part of the manga.
Anyone know if there are plans for a season 5?
