I get that. I do think that we should split what we have examples for and then take other things to YKTTW rather than trying to do both at once.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickDo you think there could be a Super-Trope featuring a short description about the different eye color associations called Eye Color Stereotypes? If this Super-Trope is feasible, then it would have a page description without any examples.

That's my experience with pink Eyes as well, I can think of a few examples. I say YKTYTW it yourself, Raso.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)No, I do not think there should be. If there's enough of a sterotype to be a trope, we will have examples of it. Otherwise we just end up with people listing random things that aren't really tropes like Dreamy Blue Green Eyes.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOften it's hard for people to settle on whether characters actually have "blue green" eyes anyways. They say "oh they are blue" or "oh they are green" or that they change colors.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)I might tomorrow, heading to bed now... I dont have a name for it though lol.
Dont even get me started on Adaptation Dye-Job... Hint... click this Mahou Sensei Negima.
Thats not even counting the eye color changes in series which I come across all the time in various animes. or ones that its just hard to tell what they are.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Do you think that an example-free Super-Trope for eye color stereotypes be helpful?
Not really. An Index of all the tropes though yes. We are going to have to have one to redirect all preexisting tropes that are being split to. They have crap tons of inbounds.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!An Index would be good. A supertrope would be bad and encourage people to just start listing eye colours of their favourite characters.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAn Index would be useful a supertrope would be pointless.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Can I include my list of eye color stereotypes from my first post on this thread in this index along with redirecting all preexisting tropes that are being split to?

Mmm, don't think so. A little description maybe, but each stereotype would be its own trope page, any additional information not big enough to be it's own trope would probably be mentioned on the Disambig for the trope color as a whole. Those are my thoughts anyways.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)As the majority of those are not tropes, no, you can not include it. It is not useful information. It is confusing natter.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickBump, I guess.
Also... perhaps a TRS tag needs to be put on each individual eye color page? I had no idea this discussion existed.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...How should we do these eye color tropes and should there be a Super-Trope featuring eye color descriptions?

No eye colour super tropes. We're cutting all of those because they just end up as useless nattery messes. Individual pages are being split off as they're sorted and get enough examples. Innocent Blue Eyes is an example of what we're doing.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIf I'm understanding this correctly, we're NOT going to have a supertrope for eye color tropes in general, and the various eye color tropes i.e. Innocent Blue Eyes will just go on Eye Tropes?

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...Correct.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSo... what needs to be done?
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...Tons. Here is the list of eye tropes we need to launch. Blue eyes is done, and black eyes are in YKTTW (here and here), and once we finish launching all those there's going to need to be a massive concentrated cleanup effort. We could technically do the cleanup one at a time, but I think its easier all at once.
Do you think you can add Carefree Pink Eyes to your list of tropes to create. Raso thought up a few tropes for pink eyes.
Do NOT go by those lists. Those aren't accurate. What you need to actually do is go through the examples on the pages and see what tropes are actually present in the examples. They aren't the same ones written up in the descriptions which is where those lists are from, but they are what is actually tropable.
That one isn't on any of the example lists so she's going to have to YKTTW it herself.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick... oh boy. This is going to take a while.
Right, I'll take a look.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...Here's a YKTTW for Earthy Green Eyes. I'm having writer's block with the description, unfortunately...

Crown Description:
Eyes Of Gold was voted to be renamed 12 to 0.
Thats just my experience with Pink Eyes I can think of 7 off the top of my head. (mostly from Magical Girl.) Pink Means Feminine for Technicolor Eyes pretty much.
