What's y'all's Steam names?
[S] agreeableAntithesis
I frequent the MSPA's Sepulchritude server (password is pumpkin), Voogru's Speed Dodgeball server, Gaming Masters' Prophunt server, and Valve's official servers. I'll try to find you.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI relaly don't know whose servers I'm using...lol.
The Fran I believe
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul. The Pyro is a lot more versatile than W+M1.
Flame thrower secondary fire uses the compression blast. It consumes some ammo, but it can reflect all enemy projectiles. This includes rockets, grenades, hunstman arrows, jarate, The Scout's baseball, simply put almost everything, but not bullets.
It can also blow enemeis away, making it an effective way to throw them into death pits, at bypassing trains, at your teams sentry gun or just keeping them in a corner while they burn alive!
Use the compression blast to extinguish burning team mates, ESPECIALLY Medics. You will be credit to team. It will not extinguish enemies, so feel free to set them ablaze and then push them around.
The axtinguisher gets guaranteed ciritcal hits on burning enemies. One or two hits with it can kill anything that's on fire. Only half damage on non-burning, so Puff n' Sting, people! Puff n' Sting!
Seriosuly, so many people don't seem to even know the airblast exists.
The Pyro is also pretty balanced. Only weakness they really got is average health and limited long range options, while dominating close range and effectively countering projectiles and spies. And are not flammable themselves, which is a bonus.
Oh, and one more thing:
Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers and Sticky Launachers are not "noob tubes" here that get you unfair killstreaks with little skill. You actually need to know how to aim your projectiles.

Sonic hates SOPAWhat's W+M1?
Also, what command is used to close the spy's disguise kit and the engineer's build and destroy menus? Right now it's not bound to any key, so I can't close them, but I don't know how to bind a key to this function because I don't know what it's called.
Hit Q. That's the default key, at least.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelOh crap. I assigned that to previous weapon category (along with E for next weapon category).
What command is Q assigned to, by default?
what is you guy's steam accounts? I could use some in game coaching from a good friend, none of that random crap. mine's Dynamod123.
my main's demoman. I'm new to everything but demoman is the most fun. I want to learn how to spy well as well.

Add me on skype! Dynamod1990@Glenn: Q is normally assigned to "Previous weapon." For example, if you switch from the Knife to the Revolver, you can hit Q to switch back to the Knife.
^My-Wait, I already have you added as a friend. I can give you Demoman tips (unless you want to learn how to Demoknight).

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI don't know what that is.
Add me on skype! Dynamod1990Demoknight is a term for Demoman players who equip the Chargin' Targe and any of the various Melee weapons (usually swords and such) for the Demo.
I'm no good at that playstyle, so I just spam Grenades and Stickies.
Also, I may not be able to help right now, since I'm installing Left 4 Dead 2 right now. I could probably put it on hold, though...

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific Mackerelah ok then, I'll just keep playing.
Add me on skype! Dynamod1990Well, here are some tips:
- The Grenade Launcher can be devastating when you aim the grenades properly.
- Stickies can be used on Payloads either to blow up foolish enemies or serve as a distraction.
i just joined a game a bit ago. played demoman, didnt do so well. heard from a teammate we need heavy's to control pyro's, so I switched. the game wen't into deathmatch, and I managed to kill 5 enemies plus a level 3 turret without a medic :> but then we lost, time ran out and we didnt get the third control point in time.
Add me on skype! Dynamod1990Added you, Dynamod.
Also, I remember fiddling with the next/previous/last weapon settings.
They currently are:
- previous (in list) - q
- next (in list) - e
- last weapon used - unset
I'm connecting to a nearly-empty server for practice/testing.
I set cancel to c, and now it says hit 'c' to back out. Everything works now.
My download is at 99%, anyone have any general tips before I get dominated?
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOI^Probably nothing that hasn't already been posted in the thread.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelPlayed any FPS's before?
Do the training sessions first.
Yeah, I've played FPS's before, what does that have to do with a war-based hat simulator?
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIWell, it depends on what kind of FPS you've played before. If you've played something like Call Of Duty before this, prepare to be confused at first unless you do the tutorial. If you've played something like Quake beforehand, it can be easier to pick up on.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI've mostly played Doom and Quake, so I'll have the advantage over snipers using SM Gs.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOI
Soldier is pretty much The Mario of this game; he doesn't have some of the advantages that other classes have, but he doesn't have their weaknesses either.
