I know they do exist, but why do villains so rarely get a Crowning Moment Of Awesome nod on this site? Villains do just as if not more awesome things than heroes I find

Maybe a combination of the audience usually finding the heroes more likable than the villains, people who like the villains tending to give them Leather Pants and downplay their evilness, and/or people finding it sort of weird to admit they found some evil act awesome.

Rooting for the Empire is usually unintentional and pretty rare which is the main cause. As well as when the villain does something awesome it's usually portrayed as a bad thing unless it's a Magnificent Bastard event or shown from the villain's perspective (Thrawn in the Star Wars novels is an example of that). Or Villain Protagonist s like in Code Geass then it's the good guys who not get C Mo F as they are the foil.

Magneto, The Joker, the Flash's Rogues, and Doctor Doom all have quite a few under their belts. Personally, I think Venom needs more.
