Hmmm...considering how large the Chimaera Ant Arc is, something tells me a single season won't be able to cover it.
Hmmm...this means we'll finally see Nefelpitou and Wriggle Nightbug Shaiapouf animated.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."YAY NEFELS :D :D :D :D :D
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialIndeedy.
And if Pouf ends up being played by Kouji Tsujitani, I will be laughing forever.
Heaven doesn't want me, and Hell's afraid I'll take over. Now that they're animating it...I'm also hoping they expand on a lot of scenes.
Like give Yuppi and Kaito more dignified deaths...atleast animate the fight scenes they die in.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Pretty sure that undignified deaths are the entire point of those scenes.
Boku Tomo, Fate Zero and a second season of Hunter X Hunter?! YES.
-ahem- Anyway, about the other titles:
Gonna watch:
- Ben-to: because the plot is just bonkers.
- C 3: because it's another boy meets mysterious girl show and I'm a sucker for those.
- Guilty Crown: Because Production I.G. plus Code Geass staff plus mecha. Plus fight-against-the-oppressor themes.
- Gundam AGE: It's Gundam.
- Kimi to Boku: Actually more interested in how it's going to be received, but I figured I'd need to watch the show for proper context and stuff.
- Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon: After the End Sunrise anime sounds like my cup of tea.
- new Last Exile: ... because I watched season 1?
- Phi Brain: Because I need to support anime about solving puzzles.
- IS, TWGOK and Princess Resurrection OVAs
- Mardock, Tekken, those Brains Base and Mad House movies
Possibly watch:
- Lupin III: Only if I have the free time for it.
- Maji De Watashi: Though I'm a big fan of the harem genre, I don't find this one appealing. Still... harem. And apparently samurai.
- Mashiro-Iro: Too little info about it.
- Mirai Nikki: Problem here is that I already know the story... I would watch it if I had the time. But it's definitely lower on my priorities.
- Persona 4: If I don't have to really know about Persona 3 and stuff.
- Un-Go: Too little info about it too.
Not gonna watch (or very, very slim proabability of watching):
- Coppelion: I've read all the translated chapters of the manga, and it's definitely not the kind of thing I'm willing to see animated. It's not bad, but it ain't for me, at least as an anime.
- Shakugan no Shana: Never been a fan of the series.
- Ika Musume: Haven;t watched the first season.
- Tamayura: No thanks, I already have enough SOL.
- Working: Haven't watched the first season.

I really need to get around to watching Ika Musume.
I personally recommend you try Working out as well. The first three episodes are kind of slow, but I found myself enjoying that show a lot.
I apparently missed that a new Lupin show was coming out. Definitely watching that.

Watch SymphogearIf I don't want to then I'll just ignore him/her. :D Anyway, I'ma try out Ika Musume. And... WORKING? Isn't that SOL? I'm asking because I have this threshold for SOL stuff.
Guess I'm watching Persona 4 then!
Yes. Working is Comedy/SOL. I don't really watch much SOL, so I don't know how it compares, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Maybe not watch it immediately, but I'd say at least to keep it on your radar for later.

its squidless to make people watch a show they havent watched the first show
This level of trolling is reasonable for Commander Obvious. What do you think of this, everyone?I regretted not watching Ikamusume as it aired. Makes me wonder why I even bothered to watch Yosuga No Sora.
iM@S archive of materials.I'm not going to be watching Ika Musume S2 because I couldn't get into S1
Same here. I only saw the first episode before putting it on hold.
Follow me on tumblr! At least get to where Sanae appears.
iM@S archive of materials. The new Hunter X Hunter anime will retell the series from the start.
And the official airdate is October 2nd.
I'm quite interested in Kimi to Boku.
Oh my. They're going for a Brotherhood then? That seems somewhat odd to me since the original anime was both faithful to the manga and quite well received as a good adaptation. I don't really see why they'd just make it again.
It's been ten years since the original show ended. If they want to reach a wide audience, a reboot is the way to go. (Remember, TV reruns are a rare thing in Japan, most of the target audience has never seen the original, and I doubt they're aiming for the nostalgia market for such a series — unlike, say, Slayers.)
Well, it's possible that they made a deal with Togashi before deciding on the anime. Like, "you'll finish the arc by ____, right?" They did something similar with Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, timing the anime and manga to end at roughly the same time.
Not that that's really a concern with Hunter X Hunter, if you look at how ridiculously long the ant arc is. It's about 40% of the entire manga, so another season of the same length as the original wouldn't even be able to catch up to what we have now (since a significant portion was covered by OV As). Definitely a Malignant Plot Tumor.
