Do you own any pets?
The first time I watched "Be Prepared" from The Lion King on YouTube was when I was a teenager. I watched TLK when I was really young, but I completely forgot that Scar had a song. When I heard it on YT, I was impressed by how awesome it was.
Which era of memes◊ is your favorite? Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like this
Mostly the Rage and Post-Irony eras.
What work(s) were you first introduced through via TV Tropes?
One thing I have learned in pledging my life to this quest is that I have been betrayed again and again. And again. And again. This Bites! and The Order of the Stick are the first that come to mind.
Have you met any famous people? Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.
If you count YouTubers, then yes. I've met at least one: Gone To The Snow Dogs, from Michigan.
...actually, make that two: I also met David Cook, a finalist from the Fox run of American Idol [can't recall what season or where he placed], at a concert.

Heroes are remembered, but Spartans never die.Definitely Windows Me for me. Lots of stability issues.
What's an ideal type of job for you? For me, either digital music composer or software engineer. "I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - Iris
I dunno. Haven’t thought that far.
Do you consider yourself naive?
kinda. Don’t wanna sound self-serving, but I’ve always been kinda sheltered to the events of the world.
In battle, we are reborn.to be honest? yeah. maybe. to some degree

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.The Hobbit, and I enjoyed it.
Favorite genre of fiction?
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.Sci-fi.
Fighter, Rouge, or Mage?
"Though the means of combat may evolve, the beating heart of war never changes. Reason and motive will fluctuate or even decay."Fighter.
What's your favorite type of joke?
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Wordplay and surreal humor.
Do you have any characters you like from things you otherwise don't care about?
No. Why would I?
What’s your opinion on remakes?
In battle, we are reborn.I don't like them. If they remake something that was really good, they usually turn out worse than the original.
Which video game do you have the most playtime in?
Edited by petersohn on Mar 20th 2024 at 2:31:02 PM
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Steam says I put 2337,9 hours on Warframe. I probably have more playtime on Girls' Frontline and Granblue Fantasy at this point, but those two games have very generous Gameplay Automation that I use 95% of the time (I'm autoplaying the Girls' Frontline x Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 collab event as I type this).
What's your take on the recent push for generative AI?
Edited by ArmoredFury on Mar 20th 2024 at 8:37:44 PM
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingHard Disagree, at least for now. AI as it currently stands should be about reducing the monotonous, menial, and torturous labor for humans. It does NOT belong in the sectors of art, culture, creativity, and generation.
That being said, if we ever do take the risk of giving full self-autonomy to AI, we better be willing and prepared to treat them the same as human beings too.
What do you think is the most accurate Dog Stereotype?
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.Heroic Dog in general. While some dogs are sadly bred or trained to be violent, I would say the vast majority of dogs are certified good bois.
To be more specific, the portrayal of golden retrievers as Kindhearted Simpletons is spot-on.
Are there any film/TV remakes that you think are good? (not counting video game remakes because those are frequently received well.) Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like this
I think Ben-Hur (1959) qualifies as a good remake, but that isn't exactly recent.
In this age of remaking everything, what's something that you think actually should be remade?
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. Not so much a "remake" and more of a "second adaptation", but now that Warner Bros. Animation has the adaptation rights to Dr. Seuss 's stories, I wouldn't mind a new take on The Lorax that manages to be Truer to the Text than the Illumination Entertainment version.
Has there ever been a WMG that you really wish was true? Currently Reading: N/A
There's actually a few but I don't remember the exact ones. For now I'll say "BlazBlue's story is actually taking place on a message board" from WMG.Blaz Blue because it would be funny
Are there any fictional characters you don't get the hype of? You don't even hate or even dislike them, you have no idea why they're so popular in the first place.
My personal answers: Prince Sidon from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Soundwave from Transformers: Prime
Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog. I never found him nearly as scary or interesting as most Courage fans think he is.
Are there any relatively obscure animals that you wish had a better reputation?
I don't see a lot of Sphynx cats in fiction, but I feel like they are one of the most stereotypically evil or "ugly" cat breeds. That's a shame, because I think they're adorable.
Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like this
Just 2 weeks ago, and it was horrible. I was sick for more than a week. I just recently got better.
A recent time you were pleasantly surprised by something?
