Hmm... I am not sure whether I should consider this or not, but here, let's throw this out.
- Name: Gaia Hermina.
- General's name: Gaius Arminius.
- Age: 18.
- Personality: In the outside, a friendly and helpful spirit to friends and foes alike, both of whom would find in her a free spirit who appreciate neither restriction nor hegemony. Those who have wronged her, however, would realize that she is more than cunning and slippery enough to break through the best of defense.
- History: Born in the Roman Empire in the house of a Germanic hostage to the court of Emperor Augustus. In her past, used to have a rather close friend by the name of Quinctilia Varia, whose power and influence she had been making use of up until now.
- Clothing or armor: An early-era "byrnie", or short chain mail over padded shirt, hide boots and round shields.◊
Abilities:
- Offensive: Might of the Hearth. Adjacent allied axe and club wielders gain +1 attack, +2 if also under the effect of the second ability below.
- Defensive: Cover of the Wald. Can hide in any forested tiles for an ambush.
- Utility: Roman Politics. Incites disarray and squabbling in one selected enemy, making them skip a turn (or more, unless rallied?)
Do you have anything to add to these, SOCR?
Yush. I'll work the abilities after we pass the current turn.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?And you new guys, keep in mind this is 2013. Its a different universe, sure, but its not that different. Rome ain't around anymore, for one thing.
And if anyone does not specify they were born in another country, I will assume they are natives of Atlantis.

- Standard Bearer: Gives -1 to enemy attacks against adjacent allies if Joan d'Arc passed turn.

- Movement: 6

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?I suppose Joan could be Jean. I would, of course, make him dress femininely, long hair and skirts, just as Joan of Arc dressed masculinely, men's clothes and short hair. I think I'll go change it now.
EDIT: Also, THERE IS NO D IN PIGEON!!!! ITS deathpigeon!!! NOT Deathpidgeon!!

No, please keep her a girl. I said what I meant and I meant what I said.
Anyway, welcome aboard. The other characters are in a pre-arranged battle right now, so you'll have to be off to the side watching or something for the time being.
Ok. I kept her a chick. It would have been interesting, given she is the only one with a female general, though.
Parable, your character will be approved once you post IC

I know, it just tends to be a stable that there is at least one dude in every magical girl anime with powers. While I joke about shipping it's more a feeling of tradition and dynamics that there should be a token male in the plot somewhere.
Also I figure it'd be amusing to see the genderbending process reversed.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Wrong thread?
Name: Bernette Montomery
General's Name: Bernard Law Montgomery
Age: 17
Appearance: Neat to an obsessive point, the strict brunette stands at 5'8", taking care to never be seen slouching. She keeps her hair tied in a tight ponytail, which is secured by an orange ribbon. Despite her size, she is relatively flat-chested, much to her chagrin.
Personality: Strict, commanding, and an absolute perfectionist, Bernette demands the best of herself and others, and will go to any lengths to ensure she receives it. However, in contrast to this, she tends to be fairly sociable and easygoing when around others, seeing a definitive line between "in combat" and "off-duty".
History: Growing up in a lower-middle class household, Bernette had always aspired to join the military. Captivated by the glory of it, and in love with the potential thrills, she spent most of her childhood dreaming of what she envisioned to be the perfect life of constant combat and competition.
She first discovered her abilities when, while daydreaming, she pointed at her schoolhouse, and muttered "bang", causing an explosion to occur which nearly leveled the school. Shortly after, she was shipped off to West Point, in order to rid those around her of her presence.
Clothing or Armor: Bernette wears a standard military uniform, complete with perfectly ironed socks and jauntily positioned hat. When not commanding, she prefers simple, easy dress, typically wearing a simple skirt and blouse.
Abilities:
- Weapon Class: Field Gun
- Guts, Guns, and Glory: +1 attack to enemies 2 tiles away.
- The Best Defense: -1 to enemies that Bernette attacked the previous turn.
- Competitive Spirit: +1 move and attack if Patton is nearby.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?He was sort of like an English Lenin/Stalin.
Cromwell could go either way, historywise. Personally I think he'd fit in more with the Loyalists dynamically.

Name: Undine Samantha "Sam" Grant
General's Name: Ulysses S Grant
Age: 15
Appearance: Short with long brown hair and brown eyes. She's sort of unremarkable on first impression.
Personality: Honest and straightfoward. Although open with her close friends, she is very shy otherwise, except with animals. Not a pushover though, once she's set her sights on something, she will keep at it until she has achieved her goal.
History: Born and raised in Altantis. Sam goes by her nickname because her real one is embarrasing. She doesn't really like the military, only going to West Point because her parents made her. Her favorite classes are not the military related ones but Math and Art.
Clothing or Armor:
A light blue skirt over dark blue stockings and a white belt. There's a white blouse but you can only see the neck because the blue, long-sleeved overshirt covers it. The sleeves are a bit too long but they billow out. Sam's brown hair goes into a ponytail when she transforms and is held up by a pin with three silver stars lined up on it.
Abilities:
(Long Gun User)
