We Are Our Epic Avatars

If you are familiar with the existing RP We Are Our Avatars, this is almost the same thing! Difference is a return to larger, overreaching conflict and plot, as opposed to the minor character interaction and character-based plots that are going on there now.

Rules are simple:

• 1. Don't godmod. You can play as a god, just play fair, and do not assume reactions, ie. do not make them invincible, unstoppable, etc. If you have questions, ask, and we'll determine what is fair.
• 2. Play the character in your avatar. Like in WAOA, you can have a large roster of characters. However, if you're playing multiple characters at the same time, YOU MUST HAVE THEM ALL IN YOUR AVATAR. That way, we can all reference those images to we know who our characters are speaking to.
• 3. Note that even though WAOEA and WAOA both share the same universe, any cross-plots are to be carefully planned in both discussion threads, with permission of the affected characters' players.
• 4. Anything else covered under the WAOA FAQ topic.

Any questions? First off, who's interested, and since we're all working together here, what is your idea of a first, feet-wetting plot to start this off?

Closest I can think is something based off the Exiles.

Also, where does something like The Minion Master fall under this "Play the character in your avatar" rule?

Depends. Are you playing the master directly? Probably, so have them and whatever they're controlling in your avatar, methinks.

I would possibly like to play the The brother hood of Nod, and Kane at some point

What if your character is an army commander? Are you going to have to have pictures representing his/her/its troops as well?

Sorry if this is annoying or anything, but I'm trying to see what limits there are to this rule. (Personally, the rule irks me, for some reason, but that doesn't matter, since it's a rule-by-democracy here.)

The rules are ok and all but the avatar rule is not going to work well in a long run.

Oh wow, I kept falling off the other one because I kept getting lost. Maybe I'll be able to stay on this one for longer, ahah. Just gotta think of the right avatar to use... Hmmm.

I am also very much in favour of the rule. It means that cooperation may become more relied upon for certain scenes, which takes me back to the good old days.

And how's cooperation enforced by having a rule about using only one avatar to represent one's characters? I'm genuinely curious how.

@Raidou: Well, if you've got two characters that usually show up as two characters, and for some bizarre reason you don't have an avatar with both, but you have a player who you trust playing one of them, you can team up (you playing one, your friend playing the other one) and have wonderful adventures together.

...Wait, you could easily do that in the original. People have done that before. The player Imca and the player Sparty Mcfly played a Tracker/Sniper team. And as Mims reminded me below with her example, Etheru once played Sam and I played Max.

There will be less ignoring half the characters of one person and paying attention to the other half? I dunno, I joined WAOA after the rule was broken permanently. But I think he was refering to like, playing Sam and Max, but one person played Sam and someone else played Max, thus being able to do things together.

Is an entire air force comprised of OCs allowed? This RP reminds me of Fusionman's epic but sadly short-lived RP.

OCs are more then accepted. They're fully welcomed. As far as an air force of them goes, though, we're trying to figure the issue of how many characters we're allowed to have at once.

That is part of the premise. Got something in mind?

Well, it's in the early stages but it's a Touhou related one, specifically this takes in Modern!Gensoukyou. It focus on solving a few crimes.
