The ultimate logical extension of Chisame and her artifact is that she runs into The Machine online and gets recruited to be her Analog Interface in Japan as Root is in America.

My thoughts during the Mother Rosario arc of SAO were "Yuuki would totally become a puella magi to get her group cured." I mean, you know Yuuki would be OP as a PM, and even worse as a witch.

So, if you're making your own version of Sword Art Online, is there also a 2814 Accel World? Both series, IIRC, take place in the same universe and are from the same author.
Haven't seen the series yet, so not likely. The relevant Sword Art 2814 ficlet is here.
Interesting thought: Back in the age of Camelot, Shining Knight was ordered to destroy an innocent village as a Secret Test of Character and refused, passing the test in Arthur's eyes. But in the Nasuverse, one of Saber's habits as King was to destroy a handful of her own villages and cannibalize their supplies in order to get the resources she would need to muster her army on short notice. How do these line up?

I think volume 10 of Accel World confirmed the crossover, but consider me a second-hand source on that...
Also Rebellion is pretty much not a thing here right? Since Madokami is just an especially powerful Blue Lantern? It certainly simplifies things if that's the case.
