It's still really morally ambiguous. Do they ever discuss doing it and why?
I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT'S A HAREM
Wait, they brainwash Nico and make her join them?
-cries-
Infinity...The anime won't even get past volume four at this rate, so I'll explain the stuff I heard (spoilers here and there up to volume 11) after it ends.
But yeah, brb adding Unwanted Harem to the Accel World page...

Episode 10's unlimited burst link may explain that. If she's been raiding random monsters it may have gotten her points back up.
That also answers one of the issues I had with the point system since not only were the points a finite resource they were also a constantly eroding one with every time someone used a burst point it vanished from the 'point economy'. But this at least explains that there's another way of injecting points into the system other than bringing new players in.

I agree with the part on the economy of points. If they had only introduced the part about only being able to introduce a single person to Accel World this episode I would have been even more concerned with how precious points were.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."This episode cleared up a bunch of things that was bugging me about the Accelerated World. So yeah, cool. On the other hand the only things as interesting as the setting are Snow Black and Takumu, and the romance in particular feels forced.
But then again Snow Black and Takumu are darn interesting.
@burnpsy I kinda want to hear about those spoilers right now... but I'll be patient.
Incidentally, the anime writers forgot to include Takumu saying that he and Chiyu broke up.

I'm guessing Yellow Radio is the chaotic evil guy because clowns. What's yellow's ability? Jamming? So what, the group wont be able to log off or something?

3DS Friend Code: 0302-0823-4983 Black 2 Friend Code: 4084-3672-362411 by utw out.
So Did the yellow king die at the hands of chrome cherry in the novels? My God, this episode
3DS Friend Code: 0302-0823-4983 Black 2 Friend Code: 4084-3672-3624No, he apparently lives (though the same thing happens, he "dies", but doesn't lose brain burst). They should have been clearer about what the rules were with level 9s losing, since translations will usually imply one way or another if they aren't told straight up.

F**king hell that very lame BSOD just so that she'll do nothing for half of the whole episode. It's approaching Guilty Crown levels now, this show.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over....
Haha, no. That's just impossible.
But yeah. We're in fighting mode at the moment, so I'm not enjoying things to begin with. But the fight is dragging on. I'd like to complain about them running around for far too long (of course the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy was on their side) and that rather odd BSOD which borders on Diabolus ex Machina is part of the problem.
Well. One of the reasons that I can keep watching is because I did watch that so I know it could be much worse.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Not Guilty Crown levels yet. Honestly, nowhere near Guilty Crown levels. But it is on it's own special level...
Infinity...I've never understood why Guilty Crown gets so much hate. Yes it has its problems but it isn't anywhere near what I would call bad.
As for the latest episode, I thought it was the best one yet. I liked the fight between the Black and Yellow Kings and thought Yellow getting Hoist by His Own Petard was funny. As for the BSOD, I don't think we know enough about Kuroyukihime to say for shore why that happened
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellHorrible pacing, rapey undertones, bad characterization and basically the worst of Writing by the Seat of Your Pants?
Not to say it isn't fun and interesting to watch. In fact, the badness kind of adds to that.

Infinity...So level 9s only lose brain burst when defeated by other level 9s and when points go to 0?

3DS Friend Code: 0302-0823-4983 Black 2 Friend Code: 4084-3672-3624Lose to another level 9 once. That's the rule.
So what happens when somebody dies in that world? Are they just loged out?
They literally just explained how this works within the past episode or two, if I'm not mistaken. >___>
Short version: They respawn where they died after a while. This allows for nasty scenarios like unlimited PKing from just waiting for them to respawn and killing them again.

I don't remember that even being mentioned but maybe it was the subs that did not mention it.
I'm still enjoying the series, but it feels like a serious case of Adaptation Decay. If they screw up Sword Art Online like this, I promise some form of vague and impossible retribution!
Is the manga better or do I have to get my fix from the LN (which is to say that I'll probably just hunt for story details in threads and stuff)?
Episode 11 was the first time AW actually managed to give me enjoyable fight scenes. Taku's heroic sacrifice, Niko's missile massacre, Black Lotus's rampage (thank you Haruyuki for snapping her out of that funk)... yeah, I really liked this episode. I really laughed hard when Chrome Disaster appeared. Talk about a party crasher.
The manga is pretty competent, but it's still far behind the anime. The translation project for the LNs is ahead.

The fight between Silver Crow and Chrome Disaster was decent. Same for the emotional resolution for Niko and stuff. I'd like to say I was moved but I wasn't. I can certainly appreciate what they wanted to convey though.
Overall, a decent episode, but that's it. I don't find it particularly interesting. Well, except for Chrome Disaster. I still don't understand what it's supposed to be.
Hm, is that it for the first cour? My overall impression of the show so far is mediocre.

Actually, from what I'm getting, it also plays a larger plot role in giving the purple king reason to be super-enraged at Snow Black for making her boyfriend forget about her, getting Lime Bell to level 4 really quickly, and stopping a certain block to adding Scarlet Rain to Haru's harem.
Incidentally, remember when I said calling this series a harem series was "debatable"? I take back the "debatable" part.
