Dances With Wolves. Also, the unused Ennio Morricone score from What Dreams May Come.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/S Darko's soundtrack. crap movie, very good period effective soundtrack.
Also, most of not all the tracks from the Twilight saga, background score and actual music.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Dick Tracy(1990) has a few good scores from Danny Elfman.
Jaws: The Revenge has a fine musical score. "Revenge and Final" is a great track. It just sucks that the rest of the movie does not share its quality.
I like some of the songs from The Last Airbender, despite loathing the movie with a passion.
I'll the third the opinion of The Last Airbender's soundtrack. When the credits to that film began to roll, what I remember thinking was "Well, that was absolutely stupid in every conceivable way......Except the music, the music was pretty cool."

"It began with the internet. But then, it always does."~Eoin ColferI felt the same way about Priest. Christopher Young's score is the only good thing about that movie.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I will say that, as much as I hate the Star Wars Prequels, they had some pretty damn good music.
The opening theme to The Crater Lake Monster was pretty ominous and gave a fairly creepy vibe. Too bad the same can't be said for the movie itself.
Howard The Duck has some nice scores.
Off topic, but I also think that monster Ferris Bueller's principal turned into in the end was some pretty nice effects work.
Others that I remembered:
- Orca - Ennio Morricone
- Red Sonja - Ennio Morricone
- American Anthem - Alan Silvestri
- Hercules (1983) - Pino Donaggio
- The 13th Warrior - Jerry Goldsmith
- Conan The Destroyer - Basil Poledouris
- Children of the Corn II - Daniel Licht (had this score been in a good movie, it probably would have been Academy Award nominated)
And a rejected one:
- Texas Rangers - Marco Beltrami (had they used this score, it would have been the only good thing about that movie)
And though I haven't seen it (the film gets a horrible reputation though), Jerry Goldsmith's score to Inchon is a great one.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Alright if animated movies can be mentioned? I just remembered that I do enjoy one song from The Swan Princess, Eternity.
Animated pictures do count, and incidentally In The Dark of the Night really needs some kind of cover, because it had real potential.
Fourthing The Last Airbender.
I am not sure if I would go as far as saying I LOVE it, but Its just decent. Especially compared to the movie itself...
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."I've heard bad things about Armageddon, but the soundtrack's pretty great.
A few more Alan Silvestri examples: Volcano and Mac and Me. Like Jerry Goldsmith, Silvestri can make a bad movie sound good with his music.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/The Last Airbender would have been OK in any other movie, but I had too much nostalgia for the much more awesome TV soundtrack, and was disappointed by the movie's.
Exactly. The soundtrack of the movie was cool, but absolutely did not fit Avatar's world or story. It was good music in the wrong place.
The Garden State had a great soundtrack if you can over look the movie's pretentious attitude

Terrible poster. The soundtrack to Home On The Range wasn't amazing, but it was definitely better than the rest of the film.
Looking for some stories? The only good thing I remember about it was XXXXXL chaps. I don't know why, but chaps are funny.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/The Omen certainly deserved its Oscar for best score, even if the rest of the movie...did not stand up.
Kingdom Of Heaven has a pretty good soundtrack.
Also, I don't know if it was in the actual movie, but I kind of like the music The Last Airbender used in its trailer.
