It's not 100 wins in a row. The chance of that happening is 0.00000000000000000000000000000789%.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Phew. I figured as much.
Also, I got the Lamb's Lure now. As I understand it, now that the Mystery Egg has become the lamb's Lure, I can use it with anyone, not just Peach, right?
Edit: Never mind. Got the Sheep Attack.
Next up, Grate Guy.

One Strip! One Strip!BREAKING NEWS
This just in: The herbs have been trimmed!
I repeat, the herbs have been trimmed! Super Mario Maker is officially 101% completed.
I thought that level turned out to be just a fake that was intentionally unwinable, and that the real final level had been beaten weeks ago.
What...what was that?
Cause I'm pretty sure I just saw somebody perform a miracle.
One Strip! One Strip!I think after the news broke about the level and Mario Maker was considered complete, some were still going at those herbs to have it done by a human player.
It was probably intended to be not reasonably doable by humans, and it was only able to be uploaded initially because the creator cheated, but if the goal was to actually be humanly impossible, the creator failed.

SoundCloudI actually just today stumbled upon a video talking about "Trimming the Herbs" and the lore behind it, including how a tool assisted run was even done on a Wii U and the intention of the level's creator.
TASes aren't hacking. Anything they donote is technically possible by a human, if extremely difficult
Damn. Got up to 29 super jumps.
So close. Most of the time, I botch it because the moment it looks like I'm getting close, I get in my own head and screw up the timing....if I'm lucky. Sometimes I only get up to about 12 -15.
I'm trying to use the advice of some videos (watch for when Mario's shadow intersects with the shadow of the monster, press when he immediately touches the monster) and I went to Mushroom Way and did it on Spineys (they're immune to jumps so I can keep trying on them until I run out of FP, then go back and hit the mushroom in the previous screen to try again. I also gave Mario the Flower Ring to increase how long I can go before I have to recharge.
Still, it's hard. If I can find a way to just, not think about how many jumps I've done long enough to do enough jumps, I'd probably pull it off.
But at least I'm in control of it. At least I know if I keep trying I can pull it off. At least it's not something that relies entirely on the Random Number God.
<Glares at KOS-MOS>
One Strip! One Strip! So are there any non-Trimming the Herb Super Mario Maker clears by Team 0% that people particularly enjoyed? I like The Hardest Muncher Stairs, but I'm also weird. (You may want to check the video time limit before watching it.)
Can you explain the KOS-MOS joke?
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and it's Gacha theme (you unlock characters called Blades that help you fight).
KOS-MOS is a blade in that game, but she's ridiculously rare. You have zero control over if you get her (well, you don't have much control over any blades, but it's worse with her, as she's got the lowest pull rate of any character).
I spent many many hours screaming in fury at not being able to get her, since she's got her own side quests and shit that obviously can't trigger if she doesn't show up. I did get her eventually, but it took a damned long time.
It was the complete lack of control that really infuriated me. There wasn't anything I could do to improve my chances beyond stocking up on luck improving items and then just doing it over and over again.
So I got a bit of a grudge.
One Strip! One Strip!Oh god that sounds hideously fucking infuriating.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Well, there was the option of skipping the core opening scenes after a patch, but you insisted on punishing yourself by watching each time.
Oh right.
I do think I did start skipping after a while, but I think I honestly kept forgetting most of the time....maybe. I've just tried to forget that entire thing.
Anyway, this is a Mario thread, so lets not derail it with talk of my past frustrations. Now I just have to avoid sucking enough to do 30 Super Jumps.
But man, 100 is gonna be hellish.
One Strip! One Strip! Most Tool Assisted Gameplay is not possible by humans...
Some of it can be, but...the term "tool assisted" is there for a reason. They use tools to make really hard things a lot easier. It leads to a lot of impossible movement and off-screen shenanigans that a real person can't do.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.A good enemy to practice Super Jumps on are spiny things since the jumps won't hurt them.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah. That's what I'm doing. As I said, the problem is me. I know what to do, but I keep botching it.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm officially a Super Wonder now.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Part of me is thinking that a new feature for the "Thousand-Year Door" remake is a new side story of Luigi's adventures in the Waffle Kingdom, so we can see what actually happened.
The other part...doubts that since we haven't had any new info on any new or improved features outside of the trailers and we're a little over a month til launch.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Playing through Luigi's adventures would probably ruin the joke. Part of the fun is trying to figure out what exactly happened since both Luigi and his "Companions" have their own biases.
Sorry.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.
So for then Mario Rpg remake, I've only got Bowsers Castle left to do storywise.
I do still need to burn the Nurture Ring to turn the Mystery Egg into the Lambs Lure, get the Star Egg from Grate Guy's Casino, find the remaining Hidden Treasures (of which two are left), and do all the Super Jumps.
Some of those I should be able to do soon enough, though playing Look the Other Way with Grate Guy will suck. I don't think he requires you to win 100 times in a row, just 100 times, so I can just keep going until I've beaten him 100 times, even if I lose a few times. Still, that's a lot of work.
After that comes all the post game stuff. That'll be fun I hope. I've been poor at doing post game work lately.
Also, I just found this video of some people playing the Armed Boss Theme on Saxophones.
Nice.
