Wrong thread?
Nah, it's the right thread...the lack of a quote is astounding though.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.21,000 sales in its first week in Japan for Color Splash.
Abysmal. In comparison, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE sold at least 26,000 copies in its first week and this is a larger incentive to purchase TMS #FE digitally.
I will laugh and laugh if American sales of Color Splash can't beat Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE's sales of 50,000.

...What's...what correlation is there between Color Splash and...TMS #FE, or whatever?
(Massively) Tainted by the Preview.
Is Colour Splash selling worse than Sticker Star?
Some relevant launch sales comparisons.
Mario RPGs:
- Sticker Star: 129,054
- Dream Team: 99,972
- Paper Jam: 49,266
Wii U RPGs:
- Xenoblade Chronicles X: 85,586
- Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: 26,340
Wii U Mario & co. Assortment:
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze: 35,717
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker: 28,025
- Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars: 6,893
- Yoshi's Woolly World: 31,158
- Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash: 55,331
- Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games: 18,276
Color Splash will be the worst selling Paper Mario game, but we've known that for awhile. It'll outsell TMS overall (by a large amount in the west), but I doubt it'll match Xenoblade. It'll be on the low end for Mario games on the Wii U, but it will at least beat Mario & Sonic 2014 in Japan.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.#FE also has a decently niche audience while Paper Mario is pretty mainstream in appeal. The fact that Color Splash started off with less sales says a lot.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I feel like we're making this out to be much worse than it actually is.
Spoiler Alert: Yahtzee didn't like it.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Paper Mario is stacked towards the west (unlike Atlus games) and will get a slight boost from the holidays. It's fun to compare the launches, but they won't be close in the long-run.

Enhanced footage from Game Xplain.
Supposed hub aside, how anyone can see those coin rings and brief bit of level layout and not jump to 3D World 2 is beyond me.
Pretty, though!
Yeah, that was what my thoughts were when I saw it.
Triple Jump and the floating Heart, meaning a Hit Point system and advanced jumping moves like in the previous 3D Games could be back.
Now all I need is that Luigi is playable, and I will be a happy man with this new Mario!

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I don't know if we should declare that a definite finished product yet- It could be a mockup of a game still in production.
I sure said that!I heard that the reveal was moved back a month because they didn't have Mario working yet, so it's probably still in development.
Huh, that gameplay is very ambiguous whether it could be exploration-based or linear. There is a hub, but that level could go either way.
I really hope it leans towards exploration.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I hope the same.
Looks more like a straight platformer like Galaxy/3D, but with decent hub this time. Could be wrong though.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. The part of the Switch teaser with the woman heading outside of her apartment to play with her friends seems to imply that this new game will be multiplayer.
If Peach isn't going to be playable again, hopefully at least Luigi will.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Peach being playable should be a standard...

Let's make it look like a Mario Kart character select screen!
I sure said that!Miyamoto: You'll get your "Bowser kidnaps Peach story and he fights the Koopalings" story and you'll LIKE IT.
There's no way that video can be believable, don't listen to dumb theories.
