Also, for the lols, a highest rated comment from an IGN user on the Vita:

"this is a vita game not milking Mario game remember that little kid when you are old enough to play a Rated M game ok"

Do they not realize that every single 3D Mario game has been best-selling?

I didn't hear anything about the vita besides being used as a controller for the ps4

I'm a bit confused. Mario 3DWorld's page says for char. stats Mario&Luigi are the same speed, but in the trailer when comparing speeds and accels Luigi clearly sped ahead of Mario. Is this right?

Wait, seriously? I'm the one who wrote it based on what I saw, now I've gotta look at the footage again.

@L Dragon 2: Luigi could go giant in Super Paper Mario. Unless you meant non-Paper Luigi. I thought he could in the multiplayer of the first New Super Mario Bros.?

He could in the single player, too, after grabbing a Mega Mushroom.

Sadly, our Best Buy did not have that event. But yes, got it when I went there to see it.

I think they should develop Mario's personality, like they have Luigi's. Being The Pollyanna would be a perfect fit with how they've portrayed him so far, and it'd be a nice contrast with Luigi.

I like that idea. Having Mario be The Pollyanna, but with shades of being a Sore Loser (is that even possible?), it wouldn't really be too far from what we've seen so far.

This was used in the movie during the mattress sled scene in the pipes.

Mario's personality is supposed to be blank, so that the player can superimpose any personality onto him in his or her mind. When you think about it, it's a key reason for Mario's success as much as attitude was an early one for Sonic.

That's more Link than Mario(that's why he's called Link at all). Mario in certain games does have a personality as bare as it is. But its enough to call that one moment in SM:RPG an out of character moment.

Mario: Expert Child Abuser.

It does kinda fit with his sore loser attitude that he's been showin' more and more(ever so slightly)

I've always thought that Mario can be a all-around friendly guy, but he can get a bit mad if you set him off just right.

There is other ideas I have of the guy's personality, but I'll type that in tomorrow.

He got mad real easily when he saw a kid make his toy version of him lose to Bowser.

But wasn't that Square's own writing, not Nintendo's?

In Mario RPG it was(maybe Sports Mix too not sure). In Mario Power Tennis he seemed pretty jealous/sore loser like in Luigi's Trophy animation.

Nintendo doesn't do much of anything to show Mario has a personality.

I want to see Nintendo give him some characterization, not Second or Third Party developers.

He just looked the other way and tapped his foot in annoyance when Gaz made the Bowser toy defeat Mario.

When Gaz said "After all, Mario will need all the help he can get!", Mario tried to punch him.
