Several problems: Mid Review Sketch Show

• First, the whole thing reeks of Audience Reactions, and comes dangerously close to being a complaint gateway.
• Second, the bulk of the examples are related to That Guy With The Glasses in some way. It's bad enough having the more rabid TGWTG fans Entry Pimping things, do we have to have the site's Hatedom in on it as well?
• Third: This doesn't seem like it's a trope at all. Instead, it defines a genre (or possibly a supertrope) that would also include better-regarded shows like MST 3 K.

I agree. Way too specific and motivated. Written to have a go at specific reviewers. Little or no value.

What about re-purposing it to a review show that has sketches in the middle? A lot of the wicks I've seen put it that way. Plus it would be objective. It's a review show, and it has sketches during it.

Well, I suppose. I just get antsy about these niche tropes that seem like they're written to describe one particular show and its imitators, although I suppose that's how tropes get started in the first place.
