Personally, I think handing any delicate equipment to Virus in the first place was a little dumb.
Ookay that wasn't shown but it's kinda obvious presumption that they wouldn't be sticking around at the gates of a place they just raided and were trying to sanction a Kill Sat for (thus the liftoff), but would come back once the alt plan was set.
