Nintendo World Championships to be hosted by Microsoft.
Edit: As for Retro, while Donkey Kong is nice and all, I don't want another one from them. Either Metroid or something else. Don't care too much really. Though a DK 3D platformer would also be acceptable.

Microsoft going 3rd party confirmed!
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyTo be honest I don't want a new Metroid from Retro much myself. Or, rather, if they do make another Metroid game I want them to tackle it in a new way. (I still want Metroid, just... not another Prime game, as amazing as they are.)
The thought just popped into my head for Retro to make another StarTropics game. Wouldn't that be glorious?
That would be lovely as well~. Mainly because I'm a sucker for the 2D Metroid games, as I grew up with Zero Mission.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaHow about a Metroid that's based on the gameplay from Super Metroid? The 2D Donkey Kong platformers probably gave them a lot of experience with 2D gameplay.

I'd want to see a game set after Fusion. There hasn't been a game since that touches on what happens afterwards. Also, give Samus a voice that actually has emotion.
Bring back Jennifer Hale.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Agreed.
I mean, I don't think it was the actor's fault in that other game, she had to work with the voice direction and script she was given, (and was even told to emote less at points) but.
Given a choice between Jennifer Hale and not!Jennifer Hale. Get Jennifer Hale.

Nintendo World Championship details announcement.
Andre will be the best commentator. No exceptions.
I'm surprised to see Justin Flynn there, though. I've always known him more as a Pokémon kind of feller.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI love NoA's videos.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's probably because he commentates the Pokemon World Championships pretty often.
Black Ops 3 was recently confirmed to be skipping Wii U, to the great shock of all of you I imagine. Not to worry though. Who needs Call of Duty when you've got Devil's Third, out in Japan August 4.
Wait, Devil's Third comes out in Japan the day before my birthday?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The big double standard here though is that the game's still being released for the 360 and PS 3. Obviously Nintendo prejudice has gone so far as to support previous generation consoles but not a console on par with their hardware. Absolutely sickening.
...And now I loathe Acti Vision.
Why are Indie devs more friendly to Nintendo than bigger third party devs?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! Why would they release Call of Duty for Wii U? The two they released on it bombed (like 5 digits bad), and nothing has changed to suggest this iteration would sell at all. Call of Duty still sells millions on 360 and PS3, but it's not worth the effort of porting it if no one will buy it.
Couldn't they just port over the 7th-gen edition? How expensive would it be for them to deliberately piss people off? Does everyone think this way?
I imagine the effort they'd have to put in to make a Wii U version of it isn't worth the low sales they get on the system. It's just business.
Those soulless monsters can call it business; I call it prejudice and discrimination.
Porting the 7th-gen editions could still lose them money. Porting isn't free, and the Wii U requires a bit more effort than the other consoles. Why go through the effort if it doesn't sell? Especially now that Splatoon (and Devil's Third, but that's going to be a W101 level bomb) fill the shooter niche on Wii U.
Why would they do that? There is like no money in it for them.
And there is obviously not an evil conspiracy to hurt Nintendo at work here.
If not porting qualifies as discrimination and predjuduce, so too does the fact that Mario only comes out on Nintendo consoles, right? After all, its easy to port.

The most edgy person on the Internet.More importantly, why would we want a bog standard shooter when we already have Splatoon? Splatoon kicks the shit out of Medal of Duty.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! This isn't the only thing that proves it though. Remember the infamous Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto? Not once has Rockstar ported that franchise over when it could have easily been done in the past, and it's not just Rockstar. Countless other games constantly neglect Nintendo in favor of the other two consoles because of "sales" and "marketing".
They're creating an endless cycle; game flops on Nintendo console, publisher blames Nintendo's base, doesn't bother porting over games in the future.

There's really no market for CoD on the Wii U, anyway, as people said. The people who'd want to play Call of Duty would already have one of the other consoles it has been released on, and to be honest I feel like the people who only have access to a Wii U would more often than not be the people who rampantly bash on Call of Duty. Several of the past games being released on Nintendo consoles (including the Wii!) didn't seem to alleviate it in the first place, eh?
Of note, Activision's other upcoming cash cow, Skylanders: Superchargers, isn't skipping Wii U because they have a notable and profitable target demographic of people who own Wii Us, that being a large amount of children and families.
