If you're getting a bundle I'd recommend waiting until Christmas. It's likely there will be a Smash bundle. Get that when it comes out.
Why not get a Mario Kart bundle now, and then just buy Smash? It's clear that they want it now, not three months from now.
Speaking of Mario Kart 8, those DLC packs announced today sound awesome. A total of six new characters, eight new vehicles, and sixteen extra tracks, for $15?

$12, if you buy them as a package deal.
Also, if you buy them both, whether separately or as a bundle, you get eight palette swaps each for Yoshi and Shy Guy.

Poor purple Yoshi, the only one excluded.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm just glad I have my Light Blue.
I've been really attached to Light Blue Yoshi ever since a LBY backpack/plush was the last thing I ever bought at Blockbuster before it shut down.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerHaving non-Mario characters in Mario Kart seems a little uncanny...
Super Smash Mario Kart
On a side note, Nintendo has officially won me over. I'm loving all the steps they have been taking with the Wii-U. Hoping that a new Metroid and maybe even a new F-Zero gets announced next year.

I would squee so hard over a proper Excite Truck sequel.

Question: has anyone picked up a Gamestop refurbished console? I want to make sure I'm not getting a bad deal and I want to get a Wii U now.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I went ahead and just bought the M&L Deluxe bundle. Only $20 more and I get two more games I may or may not play.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."If we're talking about games we'd like on Wii U, I'd still love to see a Mach Rider reboot.
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashI'd certainly like to see a reworking of several "Keeps making appearances in Smash Bros" properties. Especially Balloon Fight.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I've always liked the idea of a Mario game where you platform through a level on the TV, and whenever you enter pipes and secret areas you 'go into' the gamepad.
Like, 'Super Mario Dimensions'.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWow, eddved. That's a gimmick that doesn't alter or add to the gameplay at all. And I fucking love it!
OK, not sure if "doesn't add to gameplay at all" is the best way to say it, as it would add to the "feel" of the game, but it doesn't affect your controls or game mechanics in any way.
Kinda reminds me of Four Swords Adventures, where, provided you're using a GBA as the controller, if you go indoors or into the Dark World, you move about on the GBA screen.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThat's why I want a port of that game on Wii U. Players 2-4 can use a 3DS. There won't be a special cable limiting the userbase problem this time around if they do that.
I already mentioned how adding a "3DS as a gamepad" support would be awesome.
And then port over Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles as well.
How I would love to meander about the Veo Lu Sluice in HD.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefApproximate dates for releases in America for the Wii U.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I find it funny how Mario Maker and Star Fox are referred to as working titles, but apparently the Legend of Zelda for Wii U is just called "Zelda".

Welcome to th:|Which probably means that it has a working title, but the title would probably give away more than they want people to know right now.
Well, I for one, welcome Miyamoto's renewed interest in Nintendo's diehard fans. I was more engaged by Nintendo's flagship titles when I was challenged by them.
Welcome back.
