I thought that that one page was supposed to redirect to the main page to help with the inbound links. It's fine with the rest of them.

When the new system is implemented, can we please stick a large warning at the top of the page telling you to refer to yourself as "I" and never "This Troper"? It'd help stamp the phrase out.
Wah. But I like referring to my as "This troper". It's fun to see people talk/type in third person.
I can either be a devilish angel or an angelic devil. You decide.Okay, it looks like the system's up.
I'm ready for action. Let's hope that we'll do better the second time.
There's one problem: When I added a tale to Writing By The Seat Of Your Pants, it didn't show up as an edit. That's something that should be fixed.

The only reason we thought of this is because This Troper is forbidden at all times.
Woops. Yeah, recent change notices are not hooked up. Coming soon.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyBy the way, I want to transfer over one of my entries from the archived version of Author Appeal to the new system, but I'm not sure if it's too sexual. It's not, but it's a little sensual in nature. (But no sex references).

How do we add Troper Tales pages to tropes that don't have them? I tried to add one to Sequel Hook.
If you go to Sequel Hook, it will tell you that the page doesn't exist (so you can't discuss it). I believe this means that currently, probably due to a bug, that only pages that already have archived Troper Tales pages can be editted.
Interesting fact: If you use the url, you can still edit page, as I tested on the Sandbox. All the original pages are still there, just unaccessable. Editting this it directly however has no affect of archived pages and is ultimately pointless.
I suppose you could edit the page and create it to see if it works then, but I'd recommend not and just waiting for Fast Eddie to fix the issue.

That's fixed.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI guess at this point, we can take off the notice on the main Troper Tales page that "TT is getting a re-design".
Oh yeah, one more thing— how can we put those witty lines at the end of each TT page? The ones that led back to the trope? I kinda liked those things.

"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."(Haven't read the whole thread, please tell me if this is resolved) What are we to do with certain Troper Tales pages that were meant to separate fan reaction from in-universe actual uses of a trope like She Is All Grown Up and Nerds Are Sexy?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Umm... that's never been a legitimate use of Troper Tales, I don't think. Why did we decide to do that rather than simply purging all the fan reaction examples?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Fan reactions were prevalent enough to merit a page, since they were a whole side to a trope rather than single misuses.
If we don't decide to purge those examples, I suggest we use the YMMV namespace for those examples or make a new namespace for them.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. They're still troper tales, they just have to be written as "I had this reaction to Actress X" instead of "Actress X inspires this reaction among fans". The examples in the "Personal" folder would all be okay.

Rhymes with "Protracted."Tech request: On the new troper tales pages there is no icon at the top to take you to the main trope page, though the icons for all of the other subpages showup. Could you add that icon?
Hitting the cancel button when editing an existing Tale is taking me to /pmwiki/tale.php, rather than /pmwiki/tales.php
For individual Tales that have only been created, not edited, their history page is blank (intended?), and the "back to tales" button on all tales' history pages takes me to that trope's Troper Tales discussion page.
Also, I'm not seeing the mod-flagging button on any entries.

Thanks for spotting those incorrect links.
History does start out blank. Holler buttons are still on the way.
Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty^If you run across something that needs to be locked, just holler for a mod.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyJust wanted to say, I like the redesign. Especially the bit where your name automatically pops up, so everyone can see who said what.
If I were to write some of the strange things that come under my eyes they would not be believed. ~Cora M. Strayer~Is it making people think twice before posting bad entries?
Has anyone seen any entries? Maybe I'm just looking the wrong places but I haven't seen a troper tale at all since the new vesion started.
Use the Troper Tales filter on the 'wiki edits' page.
Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty
Sure it is. It goes right to a page saying we don't want troper tales for that topic.
