Some of the most solid asses in gaming, all right. Bayonetta and Tracer will have to walk home with the silver and bronze.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!What about Genji?
Think about it.
Those are the asses that beat Metal Gear.
They're the weapons to surpass Metal Gear!
So asses, not memes, are the DNA of the soul.
Probably should change my signature at this rate.
Standing here
I realize
Raiden's butt is nice
Mine is so lumpy
I sure said that!Come now Pulse, I'm sure your butt is fine...
Wrapped up MGS 3 a week or two back, first MGS game I've ever played. It's great - I can't think of a single thing wrong with it.
You may resume butt talk.
Les Butts Terrible. That is all I've got to say. A weapon to surpass Metal Gear, nanomachines (son) and parasites.

Everything that lives is designed to end.Don't forget Armstrong's butt, son.◊
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And like that this ass meme has gone too far. Take it away, Raiden.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Only Snakes have fabulous butts! And Raiden.
And yeah, this meme has goen too far... as always.
I feel really horrible for not playing any MG game, including Rising. I wanted to play them, but I couldn't. At least I know what it's about.

Everything that lives is designed to end. What systems do you have? I find it hard to believe you don't have access to at least one title.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI had PS 2, PS 3, PSP, Wii, DS, and PS 4 (currently, only PS 4 and crappy PC). But the problem is that I found out about MGS after I got PS 4. That was why I looked forward to MGSV. When I found out that MGSV was actually unfinished in many aspects (Fuck Konami), I was... disappointed, to say the least. I didn't buy MGSV, even though I wanted it. And I'm NEVER planning to get that game.
At least I know MG's storyline (not fully, but most of it). And it's part of the inspiration for my punk (cyberpunk/biopunk)/techno-thriller story, along with Shock games and Spec Ops the Line. Also, I will get Death Stranding.
PS: I actually played Ground Zeroes, in my friend's house. It. Was. A. Blast.

Everything that lives is designed to end.Can someone re-explain this?
Because i was pretty sure some of the blame was on Kojima for throwing the budget into making sweat glisten off of Quiet's chest, hiring voice talent Kiefer Sutherland, and making Snake the most realistic video game climber in existence.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Konami was revealed to have been a hell to work in. Like, if I remember correctly, Kojima was isolated from his coworkers and was forced to send some notes to his coworkers who were on a different floor. Everything was under Konami's Big Brother-esque control. No one can work in this environment. Then they fired him.
It was the corporate politics, in which Kojima (as well as the whole Old!Kojima Production) was a victim of.
I may be wrong, so please correct me if I made a mistake.

Everything that lives is designed to end.I mean, they're dicks, I won't mistake that. Corporate politics plays a part.
But he also made, what, 4-6 games under their roof prior? So, it seems like you can make games in that environment. What exactly changed from development of MGS 1-4 and MGS 5?
Kojima's also put his name in the credits of every single level of Phantom Pain. I somehow doubt selling Ground Zeroes as it's own title was exclusively on Konami's shoulders. I like his games but his decisions raise some question marks.
From the useless tuxedo item in the first Solid game, to the vestigial CODEC Calls in Guns of the Patriots, to me Kojima comes off as having a very Awesome, but Impractical attitude towards game design.
I guess it doesn't matter when Konami is still a pretty awful company to work for. I just tend to nitpick, and I've never actually read/understood the entire story behind their falling-out, or why Phantom Pain released in the state it was in.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Or maybe it's a Capcom vs. Inafune situation where neither side is in the right.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I'd like to think that situation got worse over time until it became unbearable. They basically took the Capcom route. At least Capcom seem to be redeeming themselves now(RE 7). Japan generally has a problem of horrible working conditions in corporations.
As for Ground Zeroes fiasco, I'm pretty sure that Konami forced him to release it separately. I'm pretty sure of it.
I would like to think that Kojima is a man of details, as well as ideas. Or maybe a man with a bizarre sense of humor. Or both. But yeah, some of his decisions are... questionable (A sniper stripped of her clothes, for example. And that "typical jeep ride" scene).
About Directed by Hideo Kojima thing, I believe that he tried to leave his trace in his game when Konami tried to unperson him. Though I'm not too sure.

Everything that lives is designed to end. There's a flashback bit in The Phantom Pain that really obviously is where Ground Zeroes was surgically extracted and released standalone from.
I sure said that!Which flashback bit are you referring to? Its been a while.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyAs one of the prior forumites said, it's probably a bit of both sides fault, though it seems Konami bears the brunt of it.
One clue that Kojima had some fault was that one of his former staff members mentioned during a Japanese interview that MGSV was released more or less exactly how Kojima wanted it to be, with only a few features missing. Kingdom of the Flies was cut rather early on in production since they realized they'd need to develop new assets for the island area and final boss; instead, they would've added it on as DLC.
As for Konami's side, it comes down to them mostly only caring about the financial bottom line and deciding that Pachinko, mobile gaming, Yugi-Oh, and Soccer games were the more profitable option. Oh, and the aforementioned god-awful working conditions after they decided to crack down on Kojima and demoralize his workforce.
I think Chapter 3 says otherwise. Not too sure, though.
Maybe it was after after discovering Illusion!Paz? I don't think there were that many flashbacks in MGSV
Should we change the subject? Like, deciding who is the memest of the MG characters?
