Just out of curiosity, because it's something I see people commenting from time to time in other places.
Have you guys ever died at the MGS 1 Torture Scene?
I see a few people pop here and there on how it was too difficult, but I never had any problem with it.

Seriously? Unless you have some kind of medical problem with your hands, I've never heard of anyone actually losing at that unless they do it on purpose.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeI'm no good at any difficulty after normal, so I need to switch to an arcade stick for my button mashing.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I died a bunch of times before just giving up. It's pretty brutal.
I heard that the one in Metal Gear Solid 2 on Extreme difficulty is pretty bad too.
Really, for those a Turbo controller is a must.
He actually will make it impossible to play if you don't use a certain type of controller for that.
nyo ho hoI'm now thinking about that one jet fight in MGS2, and aiyah, that one definitely sounds suicidal on the highest difficulty.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeNah, I did it on Extreme, and trust me it's quite doable. You get unlimited ammo from Snake's chopper, the Harrier attacks in predictable patterns with clear tell-tale signs before it strikes, and most of the fight is actually scripted - the moment where he drops the cluster bombs being a good example. The only annoying issue is the Harrier's cannon, due to how frequently Solidus fires it and how the Harrier tends to randomly rock the bullet spray around, making it difficult to predict and dodge.
Oh yeah, and Snake helps get some aggro occasionally by firing his grenade launcher at it.
Now, the torture scene from the original version of MGS 1? I was NEVER able to beat that, no matter how many times I tried. It just lasted too long, and required an insane amount of stamina and focus to stay alive. As a result I didn't get to see the original ending with Meryl surviving until the Twin Snakes came around and made it easier.

Hm. My memory's waning a bit, it seems.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeBeat the Chrysalis in one go on Peace Walker.
Again, how does the torture sequence before the final fight in MGS 2 hold up?
I remember dying the first time I played the MGS 2 torture scene, but I was playing on the pc and got taken by surprise, having to search for the Action Button on the keyboard and then mashing was far from a quick reaction. I haven't died there since.
Anyone here played or watched Ground Zeroes yet?
I'm pretty sure everyone that frequents the MGSV forum has. I know I watched livestreams of it the minute it officially released.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeI already mentioned this on the other forum, but this website is currently selling really nice-looking copies of Yoji Shinkawa's artwork.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeThe reason why I asked is that why is no one commenting on Skull Face raping Paz, then making Chico get in on with her?
It was sort of discussed in the Metal Gear Solid 5 thread, but there honestly isn't much to comment about it other than it establishes: 1) just how serious Kojima was when he said he would quit if he isn't careful with how he handles the subject matter; and 2) just how evil and depraved a monster Skull Face is.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThey did when someone shared those spoilers on that particular forum before GZ's official release. Nobody's really been outright discussing it since then, admittedly, although we have been occasionally talking about how much we'd really love to murder everyone in the XOF unit once we get our hands on TPP, consequences be damned. (There will be blood…)
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeThis is starting to creep into dangerously spoiler-y territory, so I'm going to ask that the discussion happen in the MGSV thread instead of this one, please. Some of us aren't playing Ground Zeroes until right before The Phantom Pain, and don't want to be spoiled.
No problem! And I apologize for any hints I gave towards spoiler-content.

Related to V, if Kojima does decide to chronicle what happened to Raiden in between Solid 2 and Solid 4, will it be as dark and edgy as V?
It would most likely be highly advised if you took any chatter regarding MGSV over to the other forum, yeah.

Yeah, the magazine weren't porn mags in either versions, were they, being a T-rated game and all? Because I remember a cooking magazine you can develop later on that apparently works on the Monster Hunter bosses.
