That being said, please, movie gods, don't let her get the role of Carrie. She's wrong for it on every level.

I think that was the TV Movie. The one that was meant to be the pilot for a series. But I could be mistaken.

I think those were separate. IIRC Carrie 2 followed a completely different girl and the version I'm thinking was about Carrie, just not with Sissy in the role.

MGM is trying to make money at this point, not lose it.
Anyway, I'm surprised that Megan Fox hasn't gotten one of those deals that 50 Cent has where he releases a straight-to-DVD movie every few months. That way you are forgotten about but you still make money.

No seriously, why? I doubt many people are going to be excited by the remake of a 70's horror movie that never spawned a franchise. It seems like the studio is just throwing away money.
