NOM has all the dignity of a young child who's throwing a temper tantrum because his parents are ignoring his demand to have his annoying sibling given up for adoption.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Isn't NOM one of these groups which have been supporting homophobic campaigns in Africa? That would put them quite above the standard petulant child standard of bad behaviour.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThey have been egging Uganda's governing powers on, yes. Not to mention reaching tentacles out elsewhere using Uganda as a base. :/
I have seen enough hentai to know where that is going.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesWrong set of tentacles: the propaganda ones don't come with easy porn settings.
I disagree. Tentacles, political or literal, will always end up with someone getting fucked!
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesWhy don't they change their name to IOM (international instead of national)? Or better yet, ISPCWVR (International Society for Prevention of Cruelty to our Warped Version of Reality).
For some reason, the tentacles make me think of SPECTRE. I wonder who gets to stroke the white cat and feed the others to sharks for failing them for the last time. Maybe they take turns.

Pentagon to lift ban on transgender troops in May
The Pentagon will end a ban on transgender troops on May 27, according to a draft memo obtained by USA Today.
Defense Secretary Ash Carter first announced in July that the Department intended to lift the ban and created a working group to study the implications over six months.
In the meantime, troops could serve as openly transgender, and high-level approval is needed to discharge troops for being transgender.
Repealing the ban would affect more than 12,000 troops.
@Morg Because "IOM" and "ISPCWVR" just aren't as funny.
You mean they're actually a Genestealer cult, trying to plunge the world into war so their insect overlords can come down and nom us?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Obviously.
I, for one, welcome our new Tyranid overlords.

"You can reply to this Message!"... thought this was the military thread for a minute, almost posted the wrong thing here as a follow-up.
That’s the epitome of privilege right there, not considering armed nazis a threat to your life. - SilaswI'd say start with one CVN and have it cruise before the Russian Coast a bit? Just for fun?
With the words "TRY TO TAKE MY DRIVERS LICENSE" painted on the deck.
"You can reply to this Message!"Another Kentucky county clerk vows to "die fighting" rather than issue another marriage license.
Casey County Clerk Casey Davis has reportedly refused to issue marriage licenses to both heterosexual and same-sex couples in protest of the Supreme Court's June 26 ruling on marriage equality. In an Aug. 24 interview on West Virginia’s The Tom Roten Morning Show, Davis vowed to continue to defy the Supreme Court even if it costs him his life, Right Wing Watch reports.
"It’s a war on Christianity," he told Roten. “There is a travesty taking place with that Supreme Court ruling [that] was completely unconstitutional, completely unconstitutional."
"Our law says ‘one man and one woman,’ and that is what I held my hand up and took an oath to and that is what I expected," he continued. "If it takes my life, I will die ... because I believe I owe that to the people that fought so I can have the freedom that I have, I owe that to them today, and you do, we all do."
He then added, "They fought and died so we could have this freedom, and I’m going to fight and die for my kids and your kids can keep it.”
Previously, Davis had asked Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear to call for a special session of the state legislature so it can pass a new law allowing couples to purchase marriage licenses online in a process similar to obtaining a hunting or fishing license.
In July, Davis told The Lexington Herald-Leader that he had, in fact, met with Beshear, but was told to do his job or resign.
Alternate title: Dumbass Doesn't Understand How Freedom Works.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranI'd rather he not inconvenience himself on our behalf, but it's his life.
The other county clerk had her stay of injunction denied (if you recall, she sued to allow her refusal to hand out marriage licenses, which was denied and an injunction issued to force her to comply, but she appealed and applied for a stay of the injunction). The appeal is pending but the stay was denied, with the court basically telling her "you know you're going to lose, now get back to work."
The educational system, and mel gibson movies, are really good at teaching U.S audiences that shouting "FREEDOM!" at things is just the adult way of throwing a temper tantrum.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesAnd the only antidote to hate speech is more speech.
Really, a lot of these guys are losing steam. Think of the "stand in the schoolhouse door". With one action, Gov. George Wallace made himself look silly to the world and lost all momentum for segregation and it's "state's rights" fig leaf.
Boycott businesses that refuse to serve LGBT customers. As a youth, I remember the "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" signs. I didn't know what that ment. Now I know they are a coded, polite way of saying "we're bigots, just not open about it." And, 30 years later, most of those signs are gone.
There will be businesses that balk and LGBT customers, there will be government employees who have a class 10 freakout when they have to do their job despite their belifes. And they will discover that society has left them behind. They'll lose their customer base, lose their cushy gov'ment jobs and have to back down.
Give them enough airtime and sunlight and the "traditional marriage" crowd will destory itself.
That Ashley Madison hack must have a lot of "God fearing Christians" sweating....
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48And then they will grow resentment and turn to extreme measures. This is assuming they are not powerful and numerous enough to turn the tables.
Education is what is needed.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesApparently, the majority of the female profiles on Ashley Madison is fake.
Right now, I'm torn between laughing about that mess and wishing that I was that nefarious.
As for the anti-LGBT crowd in the USA..., they're like spoiled brats.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.
Four GOP candidates sign anti-gay marriage pledge to support a Constitutional amendment and gut the SCOTUS.
"Electing a president in 2016 who is a true champion on marriage is a critical priority, something that is essential if we are to overturn the outrageous, illegitimate decision of the U.S. Supreme Court imposing same-sex 'marriage' on every state in the nation," Brian Brown, president of the National Organization for Marriage, said in a statement. In addition to support for the federal constitutional amendment, the group's pledge includes working to overturn the Supreme Court decision, nominating judges and appointing attorney generals who will apply "the original meaning of the Constitution," and reviewing pro-gay rights policies enacted by the Obama administration.
The pledge also asks potential presidents to direct the Justice Department to investigate and publicize cases of Americans who have been harassed and threatened due to their belief that marriage is between one man and one woman.
NOM invited every candidate to sign, and Brown said the organization will not support a candidate who does not sign the pledge. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee — both courting evangelical voters — have spoken frequently about their support for traditional marriage, but declined to sign the pledge, Brown said in the release. Both men told the group they have a blanket policy against signing pledges, Brown added.
