Athena gets her old hair back
Athena gets her old body back, that's what she should get. XII&XIII didn't have Athena, they had a walking talking Athena cupie-doll, that's what they had.
@kkhoho: It was from a rather hilariously narmtastic line from Maximum Impact 2.

What's this about Athena not having her body in XII and XIII?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. To put it simply, the artstyle makes her look like a child instead of the teenager she really is.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.... Which makes a frigging lot of sense, considering that she's an Idol Singer, and idol singers are supposed to appear youthful and childlike to appeal to the kawaisa ideal commonly held by their male-dominated audiences.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Athena went from This
to This
Now granted Her XII and XIII
Aren't anything related to looking like a Pop Idol... Her and Kensou are redesigned to look like they did in Psycho soldier IE Her debut
So technically she didn't lose her body... She got her original back when you think about it.
Its the thighs that bug me.

Well, the visible parts of her legs do make her look like she put on quite a bit of weight since her previous appearance.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. In that case, then she shouldn't have gotten her original body back to begin with. Heck, some of the early XII concept sprites actually have her look basically like she did pre-XII, only with the XII&XIII artstyle. Why they saw the need to make her look like a twelve year old is beyond me.
It is the Moe Blob thing...
The only Moe that works is Momoko and Moe :P

The fact that youthful is conflated with looks like a 12 year old is like the number one problem with Japanese anime-media today.
You can look youthful without looking like moetrash. I also dislike 13 giving King toothpick arms and Yuri's weird alien head.
I'm not a fan of King's bust being so emphsized, myself.
And I don't think I even need to go into detail about the Ikaris.
I sure said that!Moe requires proper distribution between the body mass
Athena looks like most of her weight comes from her Legs, Head and her Hair!
Agreed. Muscle exaggeration is one thing, but when your characters look like they've eaten a couple dozen cows, you probably need to rethink something here.
What gets on my nerves about King and Yuri is that they brought back clothing damage just for them.
Ryo, Robert and Takuma should have the same thing if you're trying to call it a shout out to Art of Fighting.
I'm like the only person who isn't THAT bothered by Ikari?
Leona looks fine for the most part, just her sprite's head is a little weird.
Clark and Ralf are overly roided up I agree but their outfits are better than the construction joe look they had going on before.
Yeah, they did. Not sure on the specific requirements, but you definitely have to take them down with a special or super to see it.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Happens all the time when fighting Saiki lol.
Wow, no one mentioned this? Anyway, Leona and Chang reveal.
