They're holding a vote on whether or not to leave. Damien votes to leave, Elanor couldn't care either way. We still haven't heard from Nicole or Andre, and Aleister seems to be unconscious from pain. Damien and Nicole are the only ones who have actually seen what the outside looks like, so before having Andre cast a vote, you might want to have him take a look too. I accidentally did most of the world building (though DJ's fine my description), so check my posts to see the description. Just a suggestion though. Most of the Posts have been Elanor/Damien character development. I'll justify this by estimating that, combined, every single post between Elanor and Damien has taken a max of maybe 2 minutes in story. Conversations can happen pretty quickly.
Oh, and I also apologize for using Andre. In future, I'll PM you before hand, or just infer an action.
Edit: Given that Aralyn is going to be gone for a few days, should we assume her character has fallen asleep? She mentioned taking a nap, so is that what we're going with?
Random news: So, I just caught zapdos in moemon, and she looks like a blond Anko from naruto

BYOON~!I had intended on the protagonists escaping the building to the horros of the outside world, so I say the characters get out of there.
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Okay, so Damien (and Elanor) are now in the farthest away burnt out building. There (appear) to be no hostiles, and Damien is trying get get everyone's attention. (Justification for him running ahead: He's a soldier. The first thing on his mind is the protection of his HVT (in this instance, Elanor). He's not trying to be a glory hog, just trying to find a (relatively) safe place.)
Hope that's not taking the lead too much. Damien is used to doing things on his own.
EDIT: Ok, so KSPAM just pm'ed me, saying he'll be busy for the next few weeks. As far as he's concerned, Aleister is an NPC for now. Personally, I vote we keep him alive and all, but KSPAM did say if we want to add some drama to the RP by killing him that's fine. Like I said, keeping him alive means the possibility of KSPAM coming back when he gets time. On the other hand, killing him means more drama.
EDIT EDIT: However, He also says he might just pop in again. So my votes keep aleister alive. KSPAM also says he might try a new chara, but that only works if we kill aleister and it'll be hard to intro since we've left the starting point.

BYOON~!@redcynic, you've accurately described Andre in a better way then I could ever convey him, I applaud you good sir.
Wow, really? Thanks, I guess. It just kinda flowed, really. I actually was afraid you'ld get mad for me taking liberties with his appearance. Nice to know I was wrong.
So, Elanor is napping until Aralyn comes back, so is Aleister going to be unconsicous till KSPAM (perhaps) comes back?
BYOON~!@redcynic: There's a difference between describing another PC, and playing a PC. If you're describing what your character thinks when a PC character is getting shot, it's OK. But if you decided to have the PC character shot, then that's another story.
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Got it. Just did the same thing with Nicole. (the thinking about her, not the getting shot thing). added some black humor at the end of Damien's monologue
Oh an I like how given what Damien told Elanor about "if it lives on earth, it can die" and now Nicole's postulating they're not on Earth.
EDIT: Added a dream sequence. I waited a while to post to convey the impression Damien had slept. Actually, I had run out of ideas. Finally, I had an idea, to give Damien a nightmare. Seems appropriate to do so, given the circumstances, no?
And, DJ, i've been meaning to ask, but i get the suspicion you included hyenas because damien was afraid of them. Which is pretty damn sadistic of you, If true.

BYOON~!That was part of the plan.
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.I'm back from the trip :D You guys have gone pretty well, though I was surprised Aleister still hadn't awoken till I read the discussion page :)
So, recap; they found a hut, fortifying it and arming themselves, Aleister and Elanor were not awake, the others were? Correct? I don't want to add anything without making sure I'm right :)
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Welcome back. Yeah, we all made a break for a burned out cabin. Damien carried Elanor, nicole carried Aleister, and andre did his own thing. Nicole found a rifle, so Damien's good to go. Everyone awake has done a bit of thinking, mainly about the others. (Basically, suspicions and first impressions.) Oh, and Damien had a nightmare, and got reminded of Elanor's words. That's about it. Elanor and Aleister are both asleep/unconscious, respectively.

BYOON~!Oh, the nightmare was interesting :) It seems like he's dealing with a broken protecter thing and the hyenas and girls remind him of the incident...and I also love how everyone's nightmares have interwoven together. Very fascinating :)
I'll start typing something up, but as mentioned before, I type one letter an hour XD
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.I'm glad you liked it. Honestly, I'm really enjoying this RP, because it lets me practice my writing in a changing environment.
Anyways, yeah Damien's gotta "broken protector thing", as you put it, going on. I'm trying to write it so that his opinion of Elanor comes across as the beginning of Big Brother Instinct, but if you keep writing Elanor as Creepy Child then it'll get...interesting to write Damien's rationalizations for protecting someone like that.

BYOON~!She honestly loves Damien as a companion, and everyone else too...but she doesn't know whether it's because she needs them or honestly considers them to be friends, and she's scared...where's the Disney PR executive, btw?
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.It's understandable if the guy forgot about putting him into story, but may I say that with there being five members in the group, it's kind of in it's own way a Five-Man Band
If we're a Five-Man Band, who's who?
BYOON~!It'll be cool to see how the characters play out into the roles of the Five-Man Band, if they do :D It's too early for me to figure out what each person is, but we probably each have a basic idea of what each role our characters fall into, and it'd be even cooler if there were two of the similar kind, making for extra conflict :D
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Nicole would be The Hero.

I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Elanor could be The Chick, but I'm not how much she would pacify group dynamics...
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.I think Andre would be The Lancer for being the anti-hero type
By the way, welcome back!

I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Wait, so I'm either The Big Guy or The Smart Guy?
Actually, the combination of the two, I think. Damien's a master of analysis (In combat, the Smart Man), but anywhere else he's The Big Guy.
edited 26th May '11 11:27:55 PM by redcynic
BYOON~!I think Damien's a cross, but Aleister might just be The Smart Guy by itself
It seems we have a developing theme of the true horror being the group's neurosis. I mean, by the end of game, the group may be reduced to little more than raving lunatics.
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Hm.. We'll have to see more of Aleister, but judging by KSPAM's character sheet in the signup, that makes sense.
Also, it's nice to have all four of us online and R Ping at around the same time.

BYOON~!
Wait, in the story are they still in the building or are they leaving? I've been busy, and couldn't focus.
