Ughhhhhhhh. The Gundam FSD looks so amazing.

And bonus, it comes with all the weapons for the Local Gundam (North America type) so it has a handheld machine-gun and shoulder-mounted cannon in addition to his wrist-mounted minigun and kickass shield. That's phenomenal. The machine gun is cool (saves me from having to give it one from the upcoming Ground Gundam... which also looks absolutely amazing), but that shoulder-mounted cannon? Game-changer for me. Turns this into my most anticipated release, stickers or not.

Also, P-Bandai Gundam Pixie. That's kinda surprising because I think it's a pretty unique design... I think only the legs might be reused? Head, arms, backpack, weapons, skirt armor all look new. That said, it's an old, obscure design, so P-Bandai makes sense there.

Doublepost/bump: So a while back, I bought the Master Grade beam effects kit. It came MUCH faster than expected (it wasn't supposed to arrive until May), and it's pretty neat. I wound up using glow-in-the-dark nail polish since it's the only thing I had that was still transparent, plus I like the fact that my Gunpla will have parts that glow in the dark.

I'll probably do the remaining two beams the same so that they'll match and, say, my Byarlant and my Hrairoo can have their own unique beam effects.

Lookin' good! Especially how the Byarlant seems to be telling us he once caught a fish that big.

Thanks. Not ecstatic with the sparkles in the blue beam, but I just tell myself they're like, mega-mega particles or something.

Just happy to have some beam effect parts that aren't pink.

Are there any beam effect parts coloured after the Unicorn's beam magnum stuff? LOVE them wacky colours there.

I have too little time to do much more than a limb on days I'm in the mood to build. Also a big enough backlog that I can't decide what to build next. Which is a problem, because having just finished rewatching Unicorn I have a pressing need for a Sinanju, but I've also been planning for a Nu. And the Jesta, Re ZEL, and Delta Plus are such sexy pieces of machinery. And speaking of the Delta Plus, the Delta Gundam and Hyaku Shiki are a little bit baller as fuck...

Well I caved in and got the HG Sinanju, and my first MG, Nu Gundam Ver. Ka.

Once my fingers heal from work last night I think I’ll start working on the Reginlaze Julia and Bael.

Speaking of M Gs, just ordered my first MG. To a resounding "No shit" I got the MG Turn A. That sexy sexy 1/100 cow is now mine.

So hey, I'm getting into Gunpla and I'm already at my second model, the HG Build Fighters A-Z Gundam.

I've already got the upper body, head, and shoulders ready, and now I'm at the arms. I'm having a hard time plugging B1-26 (the wrist guard) into the rest of the arm. What's the best way to plug in the piece?

EDIT: False alarm, I found a speed build video for the model and I figured it out from there.

I will state its gonna take me a long time to get to it. I still have to finish my Master Grade Wing Gundam & start bulding my 144 Beal which came before the Tekkadan pack.

Speaking of Wing, how good are the MG TV Version Wing suits? I kinda wanna get the MG Deathscythe 1 , TV Wing Zero and Wing Gundam out of nostalgia (even if I have the HGAC Wing) but I've heard mix things about them compared to their EW versions.

There are M Gs of the TV versions of the Wing kits? I had no idea, other than "Proto-Zero" and Wing itself. I'd love an MG Shenlong, I hate the Katoki redesign taking away the extend-arm.

Oh, that's what I was talking about. It's the EW version of Deathscythe. I hate the EW version of Shenlong.

I seem to remember building a 1/100 version of the original Shenlong when I was a kid. I just can't remember if it was a MG or a no grade.

also really glad the "EW" MG Heavyarms has its old bright orange colour scheme too.

Alright, I built the HG Thunderbolt Gundam (Full Armor Gundam). Gotta say, I love the design. Easily one of my favorite UC Gundams if not Gundams period. I love the color scheme, aesthetics and load out. I'm willing to forgive that it can't fit in all the Full Armor's gimmicks (like having an unarmored form) and having non opposable sub-arms because HG. Man this thing looks cool. Like it's legit a good kit even if it's stiff. Surprised at how well it can balance with the action base connector on the figure rather than the big ass backpack.

That said: There are way too many stickers on this thing, it's insane. The big stickers on the shield are unforgivable. I know making them an extra piece is expensive... but couldn't the stickers at least fit? Such a shame. Some of the extra engines also need glue to stay on, and the beam saber effects are too long and come bent. And as much as the stickers suck, they don't include any for the stripes on the barrel. Even by Thunderbolt standards this sticker stuff is bad.

That said, it's still a great looking kit and I'm glad to own it. Though with the drawbacks and the price I'd say only go for it if you really like the Full Armor Gundam. I also won the Atlas Gundam in a raffle.

I guess if I find room in my house I'll get the Full Armour Gundam. Besides I got the Full Armour Unicorn and the HG Thunderbolt can't be any worse than that kit was, right?

Yeah, the kit wasn't a hard build, just a time consuming one. Hardest part was definitely the stickers.

Bought a bunch of resin and metal parts for the Sazabi version Ka. Painting it a nice metallic blue. I really hope it turns out well and I'll post pictures when it's done.

Know what? I desperately wish that I could just purchase... a bunch of Core Fighters. Or something. An MG set of three Core Fighters and two Booster units would be so excellent.
