@Rachel okay not a ton of them in rural BC (I mean probably not surprising as my town has 5 clothing shops and only because I'm calling Fields, The Bargain Store and the Thrift Store (Charity Shop) clothing stores on the grounds they sell clothes and a lot of people get their clothes there), so I guess I generalized from there.

Getting my hair cut tomorrow. Kinda gotten myself into this weird loop where I can't be bothered to get it cut until winter, when longer hair would actually be better for keeping me warm

But it's an early Xmas gift from my mum, and it helps stave off depression a little when I look and feel more like what I want to be^* especially since I've been misgendered more often lately, even after getting the courage to tell some people that I use they/them, so I can put up with a chill on my neck.

Forget it. Just being a whiny little bitch as usual.

Basically a bill that would let trans people change the gender on their birth certificate without having to have bottom surgery was voted down in parliament and now it wont pass.

probably worries about criminal abuse or something. Not saying that they're right to be concerned about it, just saying that's probably what they think might happen.
