This mindset is troubling, and it seems to pop up more and more often. While not blatantly bigoted, the unfortunate implications are clearly there, and the casual "talk-to-the-hand"-style response does not help to solve matters.

My anger at this particular comment is that she's already told Asians and Muslims that she doesn't want them here...but she can't tell the gays to "go back where they came from" because gays come from everywhere.

Considering we all technically came from the Middle East and Africa according to many different belief systems...

oh boy, the layers of that comment that I could tear apart

Yeah, that's right...but she's also racist against our Indigenous people and doesn't see any hypocrisy in it.

What's that bit about a radio station getting run out of town and her saying that people feel more confident to feel hatred directed against them?

Then we'd probably get Pence, who is infinitely worse for the LGBT community.

You know what solves that? An unfortunate accident in which Pence eats to many sleeping pills. All of them. At the same time. With another drug that has a fatal reaction to sleeping pills. Very unfortunate, could have happened to anybody.

Yeah... I know realistically no matter what happens to Trump, Pence will be there to take up the torch and he's much worse.

Could we not do the 'political assassination' jokes?

Anyway, 20% of LGBT voters want Trump. This does not compute.

Stuff like this doesn't exactly make me envious of you Americans. Why can't your politicians just be bland, inoffensive people who never actually do anything, just like here?

People can hate other groups more then they feel the need to suport themselfs, at least thats where I think a significant chunk of LBGT trump voters come from.

That and the people who are dumb enough to not realise that as bad as she is Hilary is infinatly better.

Also, people are already talking about doing a drinking game for the amount of times when Trump says, "Believe me," during the debate. There will be a significant spike in alcohol poisoning.
