No but they mentioned him. They do that sometimes mention things that will happen next season
Anyone else feel they are growing a little over-reliant on the "Phrasing" joke?
Also... Nikolai's assistant is back! I friggin love that guy!

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsMan, references to Jackie Gleason and Lorne Greene? Hell, references to Jackie Gleason and Lorne Greene that expect you to know who these people are? How old is the person who wrote this episode?
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Oh, man, how much sense would it make for Archer's dad to be Buck Henry?
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. And we know what happened to Bilbo. Apparently the episodes are out of order and we will see it happen in the future.
Only seen one episode of the show, but I thought it was funny. Apparently, there was a new episode recently?
(Reviving because someone made a new thread for the show instead of bumping this one.)
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Season 4 is airing currently.
Also why is this thread practically barren? This is like one of the best shows currently on cable
"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl Pilkingtonyeah, so a big mastiff type dog was in the latest episode.
a few of the gagsvwere funny, though as a whole, it was a bit weak
"I will strike down all that threaten my clan!"I hope the dog comes back.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I hope Pam actually becomes a field agent. There is so much badass hiding behind her it's ridiculous.
"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl PilkingtonEventually ISIS won't have any employees that aren't field agents.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWell Kreiger and Carol still arent agents. And they used to have more but Archer got them all killed. They have 4 now, and 5 isnt a bad number.
I don't think Krieger would want to become a field agent, he's way too happy where he is now. Cheryl would only become an agent if there was a serial strangler on the loose somewhere.
"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl PilkingtonIt seems like every interview Adam Reed gives has him bitching about how hard it is to bring the office staff into every plotline given the tendency towards geological disparity, and Pam becoming a field agent would really just be a way to bridge that gap.
That said, I'm not sure I like how small and insular ISIS has become. It feels so...empty these days.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Did anyone notice Woodhouse has an entirely different voice in the Pope episode. They made Woodhouse into some weak, frail, and drug addicted old man, when it has clearly been shown that he is a certified Badass Grandpa even in his advanced age.
Insert snarkCatching up on the show now that more episodes on Netflix. Watching "The Limited". Love the fact that I was thinking it was setting up to be a Whole-Plot Reference to Three Ten To Yuma, and then I see Cyril reading the book that inspired the movie(s). Nice Inspiration Nod.
Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikiWell now we know that Sealab and Archer in the same universe, and Lucy; the Daughter of the Devil exists as a show there.
I wonder why Woodhouse sounded different.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I wonder if they're ever going to change the title sequence. The characters, especially Cheryl and Pam, have grown a lot from what's referenced in their bits.
Fresh-eyed movie blogIn the recent episodes it's weird that Ray and Krieger are not in the opening, they've grown too much in the series and it's kind off odd, that cheryl is "more protagonist" than they are.
But I doubt they would change the opening, probably will be this until the end.
I love how the opening manages to reflect their personalities while still making them look 'real' spies.
hashtagsarestupidI'm sad this topic isn't more active. I LOVE Archer.
Anyway: Sealab!!!
DumboI miss Harry Goz.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWow, you must be the anti-me then. I couldn’t stand Sealab or FD, yet I find Archer to be hilarious.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!There go my nipples again
"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl Pilkington
Ron Cadillac was in season 3? I thought he showed up out of nowhere this season. Last season they did Burt Reynolds for an episode or two, and Katja came back, and that was about it.
