I'll give it a look.
Still, color me surprised when Gabriel crossed over Girls of Wild's with an eroge of all things.
I did naht.A couple of 'toons I'm really enjoying: Divine Bells and Twelfth Night, both scanlated by EGS and from Naver.
Although not quite as good as Kubera or Tower of God as yet, they're quickly getting there. Admittedly, their art is way better than early SIU's was. However, when it comes to world building and plot-twists of tollishness... they're not quite in the same league. Speaking of Kali-esque trolling via cliffhanger: Currygom's done wonders in Kubera lately... Divine Bells might get to her level in future. It smells that way to me at this point.
Divine Bells also has enough funny moments to carry you along if the plot doesn't (and, that's getting nicely convoluted at this point, so little danger of that) and the art for Twelfth Night must really be seen to be believed. For fantasy-historical dramas, both are really pretty, but Twelfth Night wins the beauty pageant... and throws in convoluted love-triangles. Less funny, though.

Ayup, more on the backlog.
I did naht. They're pretty popular already. This needs more exposure.
Though, I'm a bit iffy on it now cause he has a huge harem to write for if Song gets all the main cast. O_O
Even Mr. Shinji Warhammer 40K left a review.
I did naht. The "non-popular" one I have been reading is Soul Cartel. Much more of a classic Shonen feeling, but still quite unique in... well, just about everything else.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I think that even the most popular of webtoons are, outside of Korea, about as known as works that are Level 3 on Sliding Scale Of Anime Obscurity.
From what I've seen, Soul Cartel isn't that popular in Korea. I don't know, apparently it's too banal or something. Haven't read it myself so I can't say.
My favorite webtoons are gag-webtoons, such as Sound of Heart (마음의 소리) or Natural Born Idiots, but those, or at least the former, relies on gags that wouldn't be understood outside of Korean cultural context.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Trying out Girls of Wild's and... while the characters/setting are ok, I don't like how heavy the "male getting into awkward situations" tropes are. The end of Chapter 9 is simply not funny to me and I'm getting little enjoyment from the series at this point. Should I give it a bit longer?
EDIT: 10 was better, but it just all seems so overblown. If you give me a specific chapter I should "try it" till, I might continue reading it, but I'm dropping it at this point.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! It's been a long time since I read through everything, but there was jut a shifting point wherein he just didn't take shit from anyone anymore. I can't exactly pinpoint where though.
I feel you though, he's unbearable until a certain point. The visuals got me through, cause they were immaculate, and the last few chapters have been a blast. I don't know about you though, I was fairly patient with it for the most part. It's your call. I personally think the art is worth the read.
I just like it since the girls are so horribly OP which you rarely ever see in a fighting comic.

I did naht. It's kind of like Black Lagoon, except replace the gun-grinding gangs with brick breaking belles.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Didn't realize Noblesse and Ability are made by the same people... not that I am particularly surprised.
Anyway, I'm going to miss reading both while they take a 6-week break (mentioned at the end of the current Noblesse chapter).
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Tower Of God is on a two week break too, but that's because the author injured his wrist.

I did naht. Why is the God of High School page on this wiki empty and locked? Can't find any alt category pages for it either, besides main. Haven't read it, but I'm pretty sure there's no adult content or offensive material, so it's kind of weird...
There is this webtoon, called Natural Born Idiot. It's a Slice of Life webtoon with a lot of outrageous portayals of everyday life, with lots and lots of pop cultural reference, especially from American medias.
Man, if only I knew how to do the editing and such, I would have loved to translate that one.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Double post.
So I finished reading through I Dont Want This Kind Of Hero. I used to not to think of it much, but now I'm (desperately) waiting for the update. The original is up to 100th chapter, but the translation seems to have a long way to go. Pity. :/
Initially I took it to be a simple gag webcomic, but it could be hell lot more disturbing at times. The only problem is that the author sometimes uses gag even during serious moments.
It's kind of interesting to see a comic where the main character is the most powerful character in the series from the very start and the Big Bad is treated like a comic relief (but also a bastard).

Actually kinda nice, for a fan dub
Herald of the Literature Sub-Forum. Share me your favourite book/series/author!Attention to fans of Korean webtoons, especially the ones published by Naver.
Naver Corps launched a site for official English translations for webtoons. Although not all the episodes from all the webtoons are out just yet, many of them are. If any of you are going to read the translated webtoons, preferably use this site and help support the artists.
Maybe if this becomes a hit, one day we will have a day where all the webtoons are released in English almost same time as in Korea.
Oh, the only problem is that this site is designed for mobile users. Yeah...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Oh good, I was wondering why Naver had told everyone to take down the translations. It seemed like a random dick move that relatively unknown artists wouldn't be able to afford. Makes much more sense now.
Dogfight is an awesome webtoon.
It's a story about Funny Animal martial artists of Amaranth, a vigilante organization and its war on street crimes. It probably has one of the most concrete story and dynamic fight scenes in any webtoon ever, and I highly recommend it.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. Are the anything in Line Webtoon any of you would recommend? I am already reading Tower of God, Noblesse, and the Gamer.
- Kubera looks promising as a classic fantasy story
- Magical 12 th graders is for now very good in the humor and plot department
- Hive is a good zombi story despite a very cliche cast and some wtf elements
- Dice has similar plot points than The Gamers, but the protagonist seems to be intentionally unsympathetic
- Knight Run is a good war story and I don't want this kind of heroes is a good comedy.
Personally I really enjoyed Orange Marmalade. It's quite slow paced though.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI dropped Noblesse, Tower of God, and The Gamer, simply because I felt that the story was going nowhere.

Woah.
Also I would like to recommend people to read Abide in the Wind.
A very pretty looking webtoon with an intriguing plot. Sadly the eng vers are quite behind but they'll catch up eventually
I consider it my duty to ensure that, should you be surprised by a bear in your library, you will have ample ammunition to beat it to death.
