Rogue seemed to seriously consider Ithilrandir's proposal, until seeing the island up ahead and the graveyard of ships surrounding it.

"Careful here!" Rogue said to the others. "One wrong move here and we'll end up permanent residents of Extremus!"

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take a look around the island," Rogue said to Jenny. "Just as long as we don't end up stranding ourselves."

Guybrush piloted the ship so that it wouldn't crash into the reef.

"Whoa......" Oswald marveled. "A ship graveyard.....this is AMAZING!! An actual resting place for vessels lost at sea that were lucky enough not to sink to the ocean's bottom! This is like a nautical junkyard! I bet there's plenty of spare parts we can use to patch up our ships, along with the chance of finding some nice unclaimed loot!"

He then turned to Jenny. "Realistically though, from the looks of this place, the chances of that distress signal having survivors with is really slim. Still, I like to keep optimistic. ONWARDS!!"

"We aren't piloting the ships any closer, unless y'all want our ships to become a part of it," Rogue stated to Oswald.

"Perhaps Jenny and I could check out where the distress signal is coming from while the rest of y'all patch up the boat," Rogue suggested to Jenny. "We both can fly so we can bypass the ship graveyard ourselves, can't we?"

"Probably," said the young robot, looking at the jumbled array of ships. "Or we could all explore the shipwrecks- some of them are really close to one another."

The cabin door opened again as Rainbow Dash stepped out, squinting in the sunlight. She'd spent the entire battle in there, too wrapped up in silently cursing at herself and swearing off alchohol for the rest of her life to hear any of the noises. The hangover wasn't as bad as before, though the pony's head still felt like somebody was using it as a drum. "What happened?" She said to nobody in particular.

"We've hit land, for one thing. There's some kind of distress signal on that island, and we should probably help them." said Jenny, pointing to the island and the mysterious shapes moving around on it. "We were considering crossing these boats to get there."

"I... what?" Had that little girl just said crocodile pirates? Whatever, it wasn't important. She turned to Jenny. "I say we go for it. No point in just sitting here and trying to come up with something else."

Anger did not begin to describe what this girl was feeling. It was rage. No, more than that - it was rage against one concentrated thing, the kind of laser focus rage that could combust thin air. What these people had done to her, regardless of how severe it actually was, had clearly left her alone and indignant. He couldn't exactly just forgive her for what she had done, that was still shrouded in all kinds of grays, but he could understand that specific kind of bitter resentment. The kind that could make one spit venom.

Her further explanation

of the very end was still tinged with barbs, the bitterness ebbing and flowing from her words like a tidal wave. First she tried to make amends with a party, in which she was rewarded with a "fuck you" and having absolutely nothing changed. She was desperate, desperate enough to merge with an all-powerful god to try and stop the crazy train.

Unsurprisingly, that only made it go much faster. Apparently it didn't matter if you were a Recurrent or a Memetic

, there would always be things beyond the reach of their grasp. Like in so many other cases, it had taken over her mind and body and left her as a thing. But he'd give her some credit - at least she was doing it to try and get everyone home, rather than the usual motive of thinking they could control such a power.

This latest news flash had left everyone in shambles, cast aside in the wind as they had to make their final judgement about the girl. It seemed like mostly everyone was on the same page, including himself - Sixes might have been a bitch, but her intentions were (sorta) in the right place and she could be a big help to them. Still, that didn't make some of her actions any less worthy of his indignation. But it was like humanity - they did stupid things, they did selfish things, but in the end the road to hell was paved with good intentions.

Somehow, that revelation made his head throb a little bit less. For all her fancy words and "memetics", she was every bit as human

as the rest of them.

But Lina's little tirade made him shake his head and roll his eyes. "Easy enough for you to say, maybe." he muttered, glancing back at the retreating Sixes. Maybe The Great Lina Inverse's world was peachy keen, but it was hard not to be resentful when your world was a tiny flame against a massive void of darkness. He'd wait to see what her response to Samus would be, but other than that it seemed like things had been settled. Not settled in a smooth way, but when did it ever go that way?

Aki's response in particular was downright dumbfounding. Only a few moments ago she looked like she was about to personally rip Sixes' throat out as fast as possible. And now here she was, dejectedly walking away as if all of that had been a dream. Well, almost. She repeated one last thing before she left - that Sixes had tried to kill Cain. No matter what, that seemed to be the one thing the girl wasn't going to let go on. He heard that name thrown around a few times, and yet still didn't have the slightest idea who that was. But one thing had become clear - whoever he was, he meant the world to her. If someone had tried to kill Eva, would he'd even tolerate them?

Funny, he already knew the answer to that one.

Her problems ran deep, straight through the heart and out. The way she was now, she was almost very nearly shattered - maybe only living in a very physical sense. It had been... a long time since he felt that way, but not so long ago that he couldn't remember what it was like. In that kind of situation, something had to give eventually.

May...May looked crushed, and the look didn't suit her. Hearing all this from her old enemy left her looking unsure and besides herself. Seeing how she had accepted so many things as truth for so long, that wasn't surprising. Now, now she probably didn't know what to think.

...How long had been since then? Four years? She couldn't be much older than fifteen or fourteen now, so she must have been around ten or eleven back then. Still just a kid, not even close to being a teenager yet. He wasn't so old that he couldn't remember what it was like to be a kid - kids tended to get a lot of things wrong, even when it was staring right in front of them. They also liked to believe what was told to them, especially when it came to things like who was a good guy and who was a bad guy.

And where exactly did Sixes lay on that line? Not completely black, but definitely no saint either. Yet another shady character that straddled the line between good and evil, turning out to be just human in the end. As for whether or not it was a good idea to let her in the group...well, only time would tell on that one.

In the end, he decided to leap back up onto the cabin deck and perch on it once again. "So long as she doesn't scratch the paint and plays nice, she'll fit right in with our rag tag gang." he said, the comfortable tone of cockiness easing itself right in. And he was right - the way things were going she'd fit right into the living soap opera that seemed to be their lives, like a velvet glove. But that didn't nearly convey the feelings that he was having underneath that smug veneer, not even scratching the surface.

This entire ordeal had left everyone sour, some more than others, just like it had been yesterday morning. No one was in the mood to shoot the breeze and, personally, neither was he. A little breather would be nice, and staring at the oceanic horizon provided as good enough one as he could get.

And damn, sometimes it really paid to have a good pokerface.

"Crocodiles? I thought they were more like alligators," Oswald said to Emily. "But anyway, I'm game for some wreck hopping! But who's gonna stay by our boats and guards them? I think one per boat would be good." Then Rainbow Dash came up. "Glad to see you're up, Ms. Dash!" the rabbit greeted.

"Well if that's the case, so much the better," was Lina's simple reply to Samus. "If saving otherwise helpless world is what Sixes is trying to do, the only black mark I see on her record is this experiment she held. Granted, it's a pretty big mark, but in the grand scheme of things I think I'd rather have her as an ally than an enemy." She looked around at the group. None of the others seemed to be making so bold a claim as to join with Sixes as Lina already had. "Don't everyone come jumping in at once," she said with a bored sort of sarcasm. Though it would probably be a lot faster in terms of getting out of here if everyone did get on board with Sixes.

Seeing that not necessarily everyone was pleased with her, and also that Sixes was on her way to hide off alone (it looked like Beryl had gone to take care of May, who'd left in the opposite direction), Lina decided to follow the Trope-Tan, keeping a little distance between them. At the very least she might be able to wiggle some more information out of Sixes, or maybe even make a simple deal just between the two of them to get her a better guarantee of getting out of this place. Not that she'd leave her other new-found companions behind - she just wanted to get the information (and any help) she needed as soon as she could manage it.

You guys are free to have a fight anywhere you want to, but interfering with an innocent girl’s meal is unforgivable.

"Gators have wider snouts with a rounded end while crocs have sharper, more triangular snouts," Oswald explained. "You can easily tell the difference after being chased by either species after a few times."

Then he saw Jenny and Emily bound off. "Yo, hey, wait for me!" the rabbit called out, pulling out his rope and meat hook and bounding after the two of them.

"Huh, look at this..." muttered the robot as she extended a hand and grabbed a map from a pile of rocky rubble. The map was rather waterlogged and badly torn, but nevertheless she kept a hold on it as she and the others continued along the hull of the boat.

Mordecai and Rigby got out. Mordecai faced Rigby. "Maybe we can get some parts from these ships to help repair ours." He said thoughtfully. Rigby nodded. "Eh, okay. (I'm more interested in that treasure hunt. It sounds fun and a nice way to relax after that hectic battle.)" He thought. The duo followed along with the others.

As the group hoped to the next boat, Jenny stopped and looked at a piece of paper, dislodged by her passage and aimlessly floating in the wind, floating down towards the group. Although the parchment was badly torn and waterlogged by the years (decades? centuries?) it had spent in this grisly testament to seafaring, it was easy to read at least one word on the sheet: "MONSTERS".

"Monsters?" asked Jenny skeptically, picking it up. "Can't be any worse than those crocodile guys, that's for sure."

Kyle had been dealt a glancing blow by the butt of K. Rool's blunderbuss, which disoriented him somewhat, but luckily it didn't do too much damage*

. It appeared that their gamble had paid off - the Kremlings, having seen their leader slain* , surrendered en masse. Deactivating his lightsaber, he couldn't help but give Azula a quick shake of the head as she spoke; this wasn't meant to have been a demonstration of what would happen if you got on the group's bad side. It was a simple case of self-defence (though admittedly one that had gotten a bit out of hand).

He too had been ready to rebuke some of the others for their bloodthirstiness, but he was beaten to the punch. Personally, although he thought that putting them ashore was a good idea, it was only right that they should be put somewhere where they could be rescued, or at least have a decent chance of survival. He had voiced his opinion as such, and dutifully took the wheel of the damaged galleon to guide it through the water. He wasn't sure how much longer it was going to hold out, though. The damn thing was leaking more than the Death Star plans, and he half-expected it to go under at any moment.

Therefore, he greeted the sighting of land with more than a healthy degree of relief. Bringing the galleon alongside the other ships, he tried to get one of the Kremlings to lower the anchor. He couldn't help but wonder, though, what was creating the distress signal. Hopefully it wasn't going to be a trap - there had been far too many of those in recent days.

"Well, now that we're here, I guess we'd better get to work. Try to keep an eye on the ships, though - we don't want to have an unplanned vacation," he said casually, echoing what Rogue had said.

47 walked up to the railing and stared off into the distance.

He really did not want to get involved in ethical discussions; that was not his cup of tea. Changing the world was not his specialty. All he really wanted was to get away from all this nonsense and return to his home and his job. Granted, if he was forced to stay here or in another universe, he would probably be able to make a living soon, but from a practical point of view, it was most convenient to stick to his world.

Still, he couldn't help but idly wonder about Sixes and her plan for fixing the world. Her main focus seemed to be introducing some new kind of super-energy to the world—considering all the bizarre magery he has witnessed among the motley population of Extremus, there was no telling what this "Meta" would be capable of and to what extent would it corrupt those weak-willed; his attempt to learn more was rather ill-timed, though, and poorly worded—he had to admit that.

In general, he himself was confused by his behavior for the past few days. He was haunted by dreams absent for years, and now he felt strangely eager to talk and chat with his newly-met companions and to, so to say, pour his heart out (though the desire seemed to be passing now). Maybe the strangeness of Extremus had rubbed off on him. *

In any case, it surely did not make him into a great therapist, considering how dissatisfied Aki seemed. In combat, however, he was as good as ever—and that's what mattered.

Rainbow cast a curious glance at Jenny. Admittedly, having a weird talking statue thing had its benefits, but there was just something about the robot that unnerved her. Maybe it was just the fact that it was walking, talking, acting like a person when it shouldn't be. Shaking off these thoughts, she turned to Oswald. "What do you mean by that?"

"Well, first there was a huge swarm of zombies of various types, which included one with a chainsaw for an arm and a guy in power armor like Jim usually wears that was infected by a brain eating parasite," Oswald started to explain, ticking everything off his fingers, "some raiders nearly tricked us into taking a water purifier from a nearby town; saved someone from zombies that were both invisible AND explode on contact; entered a cave where all our equipment transformed into stuff from the medieval ages and then had to fight off giant spiders and feral lizard people inside a cramped dungeon leading to a tall cavern where we had to outrun rising lava AND flesh eating little people shooting poison darts at us; enter an abandoned town where we were all turned into toys, lost our powers, and had to deal with an army of creepy hodge podge toys that later became flesh again after the toy curse passed; booted out of the group a little girl with super powers after she suggest we kill off an entire town and steal their supplies, and actually would have done it as well; fought against flesh eating plant creatures and black metallic creatures with acid blood inside a jungle and then encountering this massive poison spewing flower worm monster; battled some cyborgs; and finally transforming into different bodies, in my case a slime ghost and a white rabbit with a taste for blood, while fighting off more of those invisible exploding zombies and then while saving yet another person from a group of mercenaries armed to the teeth and chased us through a canyon with an attack chopper.

"It also turns out that said mercs are in on some kinda conspiracy to kidnap these dimension hopping teenage girls for some nefarious reason," Oswald finished.
