Lee was searching himself for his ninja tools, but couldn't find anything save for the white bottle. "Huh, I must have forgotten to take my medicine yesterday." he said.
He then starts taking long, ominous gulps from it. "To be honest, I never liked the taste of medici-" Lee suddenly stopped short, dropping the bottle to the deck.

Sub-Zero had obtained a bandanna from apparently nowhere, although his usual Lin-Kuei uniform had seemed to appear over his armor, because it kinda suited. He was sat in what had once been the starship.
My body. It is working independently of my mind. It is as unbreakable as the magic of any sorcerer, but it is enforced by nothing but a computer chip. It is not my body. My soul is corrupted.
I am doomed to live the rest of my life taking orders, following them to the letter and then awaiting new orders. Sub-Zero swung his fist at the air in front of him. And nothing happens. He managed to catch a glance of his own arm. He saw his wrist keypad. I have the resources to kill myself even, a freedom from the Lin-Kuei and a life of servitude. But I do not even have the power to move my own arm the few feet that requires. And doing so here would endanger others.
I am nothing but an abomination of flesh and steel. Nothing but a tool for whoever wishes to use me. Nothing.

Sub Zero was suddenly blinded. An illusion was draped over his senses, not that anyone would notice. In his mind's eye, he found himself in a large circular room, as his old self, apparently able to move again. Behind him was nothing but darkness. The rest of the room was a firey orange light, which seemed to emanate from nowhere. And high up above him, there was a swirling spherical vortex of black robotic pieces, which made an eerie whirling whirring sound as it span.
All anyone else would see is him standing in place, motionless as ever.

Sub-Zero looked to himself. He was him. He saw the hand that was just moments ago a control panel. He threw a punch at the air, and he felt it move through the air.
And then he realised where he was.
Explain this. I have myself back.
He spoke, and his own voice rang out around him. Although the words were less than sweet, they were the most beautiful thing he had heard in days.
"Show yourself."
Without realising it, he had entered a kombat stance. He was checking all corners.

There was a dark chuckle. The light dimmed at the far end of the room, and red eyes peered out of it.
"Shadows are everywhere. And where they are, so am I."
The gloom faded. The red eyes belonged to a shadowy figure walking towards Sub Zero. The figure seemed to be a silhouette of...himself?

"Shang Tsung?"
No. It is not his voice. He would be speaking as me if it was. He had his hands raised, cold, ready. It had been long enough since a fight being on his own terms.
"What do you want?"

"I prefer my.." Geno tried pulling out his star cannons but nothing happened. He looked down and he saw he was wearing a belt now with two gun holsters. He took one out and inspected the pistol. "Pistols? The pirate curse is messing with my powers." I feel as though I can use these competently at least. It will be strange but having a pistol gives me an extra pivot point without moving my entire arm, another degree of control on where I shoot.
"Bless you."
"I am not here because of what I want. I couldn't help but sense that your body has been not quite your own for a while. What I want...Sub Zero...is to know if you want control given back to you."

Perhaps it is not a good idea to insult him. He brought me here, and I do not know his capability.

But if it was him, I would already be attacking him. Unless he could disable the shell also.

"I assure you, Sub Zero, the ramshackle lunatic is no friend of mine."
The vortex in the air suddenly widened and rippled, and a point of view image began to form.
The image was a point of view shot. The perspective was getting up off the ground. It turned to look at what seemed to be Karzahni, if somewhat deformed. Karzahni's expression was changing from cocky to confused. "You...made a...mistake, Karzahni," said the viewpoint's voice. "You see, I don't get nightmares..." With one backhanded sweep of an armoured fist, the viewpoint sent Karzahni sprawling. "I give them." Standing over his fallen foe, the viewpoint whispered, "Your shadow plays are impressive, tyrant – but never forget who is the true master of shadows." The same armoured fist grasped Karzahni's throat. Karzahni began to twitch and convulse, spouting mad, unintelligible gibberish, as if his mind was being rapidly unwound. The arm flicked upwards, accompanied by a blast of energy, and Karzahni was sent sailing through the air.
The image faded, and the vortex closed up again.

Raspberyl grinned cheerily as Minako joined in on her joke, glancing over at the Zero and huntress as both found themselves dressed as the Delinquent herself had been the day before. While Minako appeared unabashed by this development, likely due to the fact that this was still more than she'd worn during the previous curse, Samus looked less than pleased .
"We're pirates, of course! The ultimate badasses of the sea." Raspberyl smiled proudly, adjusting her enormous hat with a slight flourish. She was quite clearly enjoying this curse much more than the others they had encountered thus far. "The sort of pirates you hear about in stories, I mean. You know, Captain Goldenhawk? Rondimien the Blazing Wheel? The Pringaneer Ten? We're not going to go out looting and pillaging just because we're dressed like this. Well, I'm not, at least." Raspberyl grinned, only realizing after listing off all her favorite childhood pirate protagonists that there was a very good chance no one else would have any idea who those people were, especially in Samus' case.
Just then, what sounded like a quiet commotion from the main deck caught Raspberyl's attention, providing an effective excuse to drop the slightly embarrassing conversation. Nostalgia was one thing, but she wasn't a kid anymore, after all. "...Anyway, I think I'll go check out what's going on up top. The captain must make her rounds." Raspberyl chuckled, hiding her sheepishness behind another joke.
Assuming no one stopped her, Raspberyl would make up up on deck just in time to see whatever trouble the now-inebriated Lee managed to get himself into next.
"It's quite simple, really. Suppose I want someone 'disposed of', or some artefact gathered. I would call upon your aid, and the aid of my other associates, and ask you all for your generous assistance. This employment would not last for long, you understand. Just until we can each of us find our way home."

Eliminating someone? I will not kill any ally. Not for my own freedom.
"I will not attack any of the allies I am travelling with. It is to be understood. I do not trust sorcerors. And I definitely do not trust you."
But I have no choice. I will have to agree to whatever terms he has.

Makuta decided to omit the fact that he wasn't actually a sorcerer, deciding Sub Zero would trust him less were he told the truth.
"Very well. I shall not ask that those that you travel with fall by your own hand. So...do we have an accord?"
Beryl would get there just in time to see a blush form on Lee's cheeks. Suddenly, the usually sure-footed shinobi started to stumble and sway, making small exclamations whenever he "righted" himself. the bottle rolled away from him. Feel free to pick it up, anyone.
