It feels like her character has no subtlety to it. Love me, I'm quirky! Pity me, I'm sad! Ship me with Almond, it's cute! It just seems a little too blatant and ends up falling flat for me. And the third thing there doesn't help either because the idea of shipping two children together seems weird and slightly uncomfortable to me.
