Well, yeah, never expected him to really be gone.
Pretty ignorant on Glitchmaster's part to not realize that Rosemaster has long since stopped caring about the plan itself. He's had a long time to figure out that she's loyal to the Nightmare Knight.

I've no idea. I don't remember anyone apply a gender to it or it claiming one, so I just use him by default.
Somewhere, somewhen (maybe on twitter?) Glitchmaster was definitely revealed to be a she.

As to GlitchMaster being gone, I think that I assumed as much after the absorption scene, taking it to be somewhat fatal—incorrectly, as it turns out.

Eh, Glitchmaster is the most villainous character in the story so far. Kitty Queen seems basically harmless and the Nightmare Knight has stopped caring if he ever did. Besides, I'm not sure it's even possible to really kill her or the other masters. If she isn't the villain then basically no one is, though that's also possible.
Well, I guess there's the Oracle maybe? But I think she's just as bored of all this as the Disaster Masters so she just halfasses everything at this point.

IDK, looks to me like Rosemaster is on the verge of an epic Heel–Face Turn — now she's all drawn out in the white and pink color scheme that's emblematic of Carrot and Parfait's shared love. I expect Redemption Equals Death to shortly follow.
I think that Glitchmaster and Rosemaster ended up in a Fusion Dance with Rosie in control... that's the source of the giant Rosemaster with Glitchmaster's color scheme. Now we're getting a look inside the head of Glitchrose, and her two contributors are having it out.

I expect Rosemaster to 'die' for now, but I expect her and all the others to be back eventually.

Not as angry as the name would suggest.

Rosemaster has stopped caring about The Plan itself but keeps trying because she thinks daddy wants to rule the world or whatever. She wanted to retrieve the Hocus Crocus to double her magical power. Glitchmaster showed her that the Nightmare Knight was sabotaging The Plan and asked to be given the flower instead because it would make her stronger than the Nightmare Knight. Rosemaster looked all angry and stuff, but when she got the superawesome flower she instantly turned on Glitchmaster because, again, loyal to the Nightmare Knight. She still lost because Carrot got a plot powerup which probably happens every cycle when something bad happens to the heroes, at which point an angry Glitchmaster returned/escaped from her clutches.
Exactly how Glitchmaster was temporarily defeated probably doesn't matter much, if that's what you're wondering.

I rather suspect that the word cut off by RoseMaster in the former page is not "care".
So... Why GlitchMaster "of all of [them]"? Has the Nightmare Knight shown particular favour towards her...?

"The first person who ever showed me..." Kindness? Affection? Respect?
Whatever it is, it sounds to me like an implication that Rosemaster had an existence before she met the Nightmare Knight. So it's not that the Nightmare Knight created the Disaster Masters... 
maybe he found people willing to work with them, and gave them power.
