Just got an invite from Bethesda to demo The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim (along with Prey 2 and Rage). That was the easiest "FUCK YES!!!" I ever had.

Jonah FalconHoping Monado, The Last Story, and Zangeki no Reginleiv gets announced in english...
All the best games never get translated...
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Still waiting for more info for Nintendo's Project Cafe.
Why I am afraid of fences.I promise I'll give my first hand impressions on Cafe.
I'm also at Nintendo and Ubisoft's press conferences. Still waiting for a confirmation on Microsoft. Sony... a lot of jumping through hoops.
Jonah FalconMonado is going to be released (as Xenoblade Chronicles) in Europe. It hasn't been announced for a North American release, but it'll definitely have an English version.
EDIT: Actually, according to Wikipedia, it's on NoA's release schedule, but with an undetermined release date.

Welcome to th:|Already have the invite from Sega for that.
Jonah FalconI'm psyched for more Skyrim info! By diversifying the geography and dungeons, theyve already made it better than oblivion, which was itself a great game. Dragon shouts adds an interesting mechanic separate from magic, which should be super fun to play with. And lets face it, you get to slay dragons. Thats practicalky THE fantasy trope.
My only disappointment is that they keep taking away layers of complexity. Three attributes?! Oblivion started this trend, limiting your options in how many items you could wear at once and in what spell and enchantment effects you can put together, though i must admit, it made enchanting cheaper and easier (especially with constant use items.) Streamlining is by no means a bad thing, and doesnt detract from the games fun, but i like tinkering with ingame options to see just what types of characters, spells, and magic items i can build, like in morrowind.
Bottom line: i am soooo psyched for skyrim!!
-Hopes for Episode 3-
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelStill don't get the appeal. Trailers are released all year.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI hope we get info on Ni No Kuni!
The Protomen enhanced my life. Some of the year's biggest games are revealed at E3. We also get gameplay videos of the upcoming games.
I'm hoping we get some news from Square Enix. We still haven't heard anything new about Final Fantasy XIII-2 yet and its coming out this year...

I'm just looking forward to see people saying Nintendo is doomed like they do every year.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.- New Nintendo console (confirmed)
- New Soul Calibur, hopefully also on the above (all but confirmed)
- New TWEWY (rumored)
- Battle of 1999 Castlevania (They have to do it sometime no?)
- Full 3d Pokemon adventure with wild Pokemon (well, a new 3D of some kind is due out soon going by Stadium 2, Colo and PBR's releases)
- 3DS Custom Robo that lets you fight robos in the real world via AR (Rule of Cool)
- US release of AAI 2 (perhaps?)
- Swordcraft Story 3 gets a US release as 3DS ware (No chance at all)

Barring some epic disaster Microsoft and Nintendo are, from a public relations standpoint, safe this year. People are still crucifying Sony for the PSN hack.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Cool, let us know how Skyrim is JAF.
That way I have something to agonize over not being able to play in the last weeks of basic/opening weeks of AIT.
"-Hopes for Episode 3-"
Forget it. Valve has stated they're done with episodic games.
Jonah Falcon^Maybe they will do Half-Life 3 instead?
Well, they gotta give some closure to the Half-Life 2 saga.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelWell, they have to resolve that cliffhanger.
Jonah FalconAnd if they resolve the cliffhanger, the game's name doesn't really matter much. It could be called Half Life 2: Episode 3, or it could be called Half Life Potato Unicycle. It'd still be the next Half Life game. What's in a name, anyway?
I have a message from another time...The size of the game. That's what matters.
