The plot's still pretty much exactly where we started except for the new characters.

Huh. They sure stroke a different chord with the latest episode, but I still liked it's sound. Wonder if they are trying to actually resolve something with the and-of-season episode.
Probably not, though. Still, I've been laughing so much at Sato's pain, I feel I should at least hope that fate throws him a bone anytime soon.

I thought it was pretty much established that no one in this series, even the helpful little sister, could be considered 'normal'. Granted Izumi is weird, but aren't many writers like that? :P

Contrary to most people, I don't mind the Inami/Takanashi at all. I found the ending to be cute.
Related to this, I'm actually tempted to add Character Development to Inami's entry now, at least as far as the anime concerned. She's certainly less hair-trigger violent as she was in the first season, and as this episode shows, can go for almost a month not punching anyone. Granted it's via avoidance, but that's still something.
I don't know if I can say the same as Souta. I know that in the most recent manga tankoubon he finally gets it, but it's not really the same in the anime. Denial at its finest.
Final episode's out. Good stuff, especially the scene at the end. And Maya's actually got a role!

Yeah, it's a shame she can't be used more. She's quite entertaining when given the chance.
Well Maya has always served as a contrast to the usual craziness in Wagnaria, so it kind of fits that she always gets her share during the last episode. That said, I think it's clear by this point that she's not as normal as she *thinks* she is, ahaha.
I wouldn't call that a "role", more like a prolonged throwaway gag.
It's kind of sad, how it'll probably be at least two years and three months before we hear Maya talk again, ahaha.
