No, the two have much, much more Les Yay than that. Every non-generic line from Sugar is a purposeful, direct come-on. Pratty's dialog on its own isn't free from it either (Yes, your female friend being forced into a french maid outfit is indeed "cute"...)

"Why are you forced to multiclass between craft knight and edge fencer in the sequel?" Edge Fencer is really just a power up (a very sucky power up for the most part, you can't use your support for anything, limited use that doesn't recover in normal healing areas).

I'm tempted to say i don't like crono trigger too just to see what MY punishment would be, but any complaints i have about it are just because i played the crappy PS 1 port.

And then we got distracted by Mermaid Nietzsche("And if you gaze for long into an undersea trench, the undersea trench gazes also into you.") and then Fusion suggested Summon Night.

My complaints about Chrono Trigger boil down to "Excellent story that did not interest me AT ALL".

I didn't like Chrono Trigger because of the bloodly unavoidable ambushes every 3 yards that respawn all the time in a game that isn't friendly on running away unharmed. If a game is regularly praised for Pre-existing Encounters, they should be avoidable.

I suggested BOTH for redemption.

Spain hates Yggdra for being too dark and sucker-punchy,

You just made me want to play that game now.

Oh, and i never played chrono cross. Re Dead is confusing me. Somebody help.

Crono Cross was the PS 1 sequel to Trigger. It sucked.

Also you can play Yggdra Union. It's more bad for Metal Gearing and bad gameplay mechanics.

52 is far greater than the number of times I should be able to be beaten by anything in a row. I've been fighting her for over an hour now.

Protip: You should have a shield spell. What the game doesn't tell you is that it gives super armor, which is very effective against Razzy and her knuckles (be sure to break them because they are crazy awesome) and most bosses in general.

You have a shield spell that makes you immune to knockback. Razzy is only dangerous with her knockback.
