I remember that ad... from the VHSs, at least.

I remember that ad, always wondered why squashing a bus produces a gameboy. I also remember thinking I was way too cool for these yellow rat things and yet ten years later I was EV training my perfect special attack IV Gengar into the ultimate special sweeper.
I'd expect he'd get some points for doing that or something, but no. He got a Gameboy.

An Enigma & a Mystery
The comments are funnier.

And yet people frowned when I tried to do this to a group of first grade children.

Double standards, man.

So when you crush vehicles you get gaming systems?

Excuse me, I have to get down to the dump.

When I find your terror's tells, my 「Enigma」 can strike perfectly!
my sweetest downfall
I thought at first he was gonna rape them or something.

His smile really didn't help at all, really.

Fun times for all.
I was that guy.
What did the mathematician say after getting a stomachache at the all-you-can-eat buffet?

"√(-1/64)"
Geez, imagine if that guy tried to pull the same stunt now and had to shove 650 of the little bastards onto that bus...

:DDD
Why did they have to choose a creepy fat old guy for this, anyway? "Oh, we're doing a commercial about crushing some Pokemon trapped on a bus, I don't think we could make it any more unnerving anyway!"
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.
Granted, the Pokemon seem pretty happy once they're actually shoved into the gameboy...
I was never creeped out by that ad when I saw it. cool
My God, I effing remember that commercial.

From the comments...

Somewhere out there is someone who is severely disappointed the game didn't involving crushing animals inside cars.
Now, people, that's what I call...

cool

... a Crushing Victory.

I can't see the ad from work and yet I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't remember if it creeped me out or not, but if yes, probably only the first time I saw it.
