I hope to be able to post later this evening - I'm feeling somewhat brain-fried right now

I accidentally stayed up way later than I should have. Going to bed now, but this may affect my posting tomorrow.

Heh, you aren't the only one. I always try to time my sleep so that it happens between the time the sun goes down and when it comes back up, but I think I may have, uh... missed. So say the early birds outside my window...

Sorry it's taking me awhile to write a post, been busy and having a bit of a writer's block.

My internet is completely, hilariously broken. I'll try to post from my phone, but it might take a while.

Upon reading again about Moreena's startling discovery, this started playing in my head.

Not sure if I should post for Qrlil or wait for Gault.

Hm. At this point, I can only think of one response for Miyuki, and that's something along the lines of "okay thanks bye." I can't see her as nosy enough to press further, and since there's no danger her worries have been placated.

I'm assuming that's your preferred outcome, nrjxll, but I'm not sure what else to do...

I have no plans for Seon at the moment, so I'm fine with anything.

I'm so bored. I'm stuck in Pokemon AlphaSapphire until I can get to the store for a Nintendo Eshop card so I can get back into Pokemon Bank and determine where my Pokedex stands. My family has all-but adopted two Bichon Frises who are older and have several health problems, so all they want to do is sleep. There's never anything on TV and I may have actually exhausted everything I want to see on YouTube. Joining a CDT sounds like a fine idea, but my online summer classes start in a week and I don't want those to turn out to be more work than I bargained for and force me to quit as soon as I've started.

So I'm stuck for a week. Whoo. I suppose I could write something, I guess...

@Tro: Is Lara still active in Resort? I was thinking about having the new character I'm bringing in bump into her.

Yes, by this time, she should be leaving her room. For some reason, I wasn't sure to write for that business.

So I'm going to a local convention throughout this weekend. I'll be gone until 8 PM today, and for most of the afternoon tomorrow and Sunday.

@Wolf1066: It's been a while since Gwion's said anything... You still around?

Sorry I haven't posted in a while - it's been a busy time at work and home but I've got the weekend off, just caught up on a lot of sleep and feel somewhat more relaxed. I'll put up a post for Resort today.

Not sure what to do in Capital. Gwion's just sitting in the Hotel Fantastique restaurant, drinking coffee, and the Terra Novan's are presumably still sleeping in after their night out on the town.

I'm trying to think what to do with Kyana once she splits up with Joshua. I'm thinking of having her go home really quick and writing a scene with her and her parents but then she'll be free. Or she can run into someone else in the Hotel.

I was thinking about possibly getting her involved with the Bleaksteel in some manner, though at the same time I'd like to give somebody else the option of interacting with your characters since the ninjas are with my characters already.

On a different note, I'm definitely using Sophie on her lonesome for a future CDT. Samantha's been hogging all the development these last couple posts.

Also, I'll probably rejoin Resort later tonight. We're going out to eat soon, and I'd rather not try and post from my phone.

Finally got up a Resort post. I'm going to pull Gwion from Capital so I only have to worry about the Terra Novans in that one. Leave him for the Resort given that the Terra Novans there are not very active at the moment.

Since it's been established in Resort that Gwion never caught up with Joshua again in Capital and they've both wound up in the same dining room at the same time, I'm assuming that it's a big dining room, they're seated far apart and they haven't noticed each other, being too busy with their own stuff.

Edit: I see Miyuki and Akira have spotted the two different tables and established they're across opposite sides of the dining area. Great!

So is anyone thinking about adding another character to Capital? I'm not sure which of the current characters would make a good fit for those of mine that aren't already engaged.

I'll post later today, but right now I have a question: What is the common interpretation of "high-strung"? The dictionary describes it as someone who makes a big deal out of the smallest interruptions to a plan, but I thought it just meant easily startled, like I am IRL. I've been told on multiple occasions that I'm high-strung.

Pretty sure the common definition is just "nervous", with yeah, maybe a little specific implication of being twitchy or easily startled.

and I'd be inclined to use "high-strung" to describe both being nervy/jumpy and being inclined to go off the deep end about minor inconveniences.
