Mine, though if somebody pokes it they'd probably better do so here as well.

The Vardalari Exports booth will be open again on Day Two if anyone wants it. It can be a useful source of McGuffins and Sealed Evil in a Can, among other plot devices. It can also serve as a site for shady dealings.

Nhesvrasila will still be there. Drs. Tsaadlo and Whittaker will not. I may or may not add another stall.

The Youkai Showcase is going to stick around, and presumably will stay around until Fair ends. Or until I get bored with Fair. Whichever comes first.

I'm happy to leave Ejra Demori's Fantastical Emporium open, though he may have a different sale going. :p

I'm going to go ahead and advance the time in Fair in my next post there.

On another note, though, what do people think of February 4th as a starting date for Capital? Obviously it needs a lot of development and Halloween's not even over yet, so it shouldn't be launched immediately, and February 4th is a convenient day for me personally. But obviously I don't know if that's true for all of you. Thoughts?

That starting date sounds great to me.

And that's Day 2 in Fair started. Though obviously not every character has to get up right away, or go in the fair if they do - I figure the hotel is serving some kind of breakfast.

Sounds soon, but if you're confident, then I suppose it's fine. I'm sure I'll be late in joining as per usual.

As soon as the fox and Kaguya meet up again they're both going to leave soon afterwards, though if anyone still wants to speak to Kaguya they still can.

Also, I am aware that we can both control the ghost, nrjxll. I've just shied away from it thus far because I'm still in the midst of settling into my new classes (even today I've only been to 4 of 5) and haven't had much time to think ahead in regards to Halloween. And you've written the majority of the ghost's actions thus far, so it feels a little weird to butt in on the character now, even if there isn't a whole lot of defined "character" to it, written or unwritten.

I just don't want to write the ghost entirely by myself. Krajn's reactions feel more naturalistic when they aren't to something I'm doing - that's sort of the whole point of the threads, in fact.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to post for the next 3-5 hours. Kind of spent my afternoon away just relaxing.

Personally, I'd prefer the weekend as a starting date, but I suppose it doesn't really matter.

I'm fine with a February 4 starting date for Capital.

Activity seems to pretty regularly drop on the weekends. So I'd rather start it on a weekday for that reason alone.

Also: Yomegami, can you not pull your characters out of Halloween in your next post? Harry might want to talk (briefly) to Hayate, but I'm waiting for Priss or Moreena to respond before posting as him again.

I am not currently sure what Priss would say, so.

Well, Harry did ask her a question during my last post.

Though yeah, that reminds me, still looking for people's thoughts on a good way to wrap up the ballroom group.

I don't think so. Sitting on my rear for three hours for lecture doesn't inspire me to do the same at home, even if it's with writing. Plus, I've still got no ideas on anything meaningful to add to the ghost, so if I did post, it'd just be kind of treading water.

Still, tomorrow is a shorter day, I should have plenty of time in the early afternoon. Maybe even the morning, but considering how late it is now, I doubt it.

I've posted, getting Somlan and Emmesin moving for the day, and also threw another character from the same story into the mix. The three of them won't be meeting up in the immediate future, though.

This was really just an intro post; Masum will go interact with somebody else's characters in my next post.

It's more writer's block than anything else, njr. I will respond, I'm just not sure how yet.

One of my friends is looking at the thread and asked me to summarize my characters' part in it, so this is for his benefit:

Somlan and Emmesin have been sent to the Fair by King Kellis in an attempt to find a way to resurrect the previous King, Cantis. So far they have been unsuccessful, but Somlan bought a gemstone for his lover back in Rashae. This morning (my most recent post), they were speaking with King Kellis and were informed that one of the mages who helped send them here observed hints that Aeron is here. For context from their home universe, Aeron is known only as the name of the hostile mage who has taken over the Saavik Steppes (a neighboring, loosely-held-together nation of nomadic tribes) and built a dark tower, and very likely intends to invade Rashae.

Meanwhile, Masum (the real name of Aeron) has arrived and intends to help Somlan and Emmesin find what they're looking for, because Cantis was ultimately the reason he went bad, and he wants to extend his revenge to Cantis if possible.

To avert possibility of godmoding, I'm having the world-eating monstrosities that control Masum be unable to come directly to the Fair, but he was able to bring their demonic mooks with him. They are invisible and largely unable to interact with the world, but they can observe and speak to Masum, and they can eat dead creatures (seen with the midges in the fountain).

As an unrelated note, Ejra Demori is running a stall of Magic: The Gathering-themed "spells" (based on the pre-revision novels, if that means anything to anyone), which are various trinkets and artifacts, most of which are only usable by people with magical talent, which is a basically random trait people are born with. Each player is free to decide whether their character has the ability. Some of his artifacts and spells are usable without magical ability. (All his spells are actual Magic cards; feel free to ask for the specific cards I was going for with any given spell I put in the thread.) He's inactive at the moment, though; just an NPC available for those who want to visit his stall.

That should about cover my role here thus far.
