Alright, finished my post in Dig Site.

Sorry for how long that took (TWO ANNAHAFF OWAHS!?), and again, sorry for how long it is. These are probably the first two characters I've put in one of these threads that actively interact with each other.

Oh yeah, Tehpillowstar, do you still want that recap of the Shared Story thread?

I'm thinking of leaving Dig Site. It's not that it's boring or that I have no use for it, it's just that it's moving along at a pretty brisk pace and there's just a lot on my plate at the moment. I'm going to try and go through it one more time and see if I can contribute but I might have to put this at the bottom of my priorities.

EDIT: Yeah, sorry but I don't think I can do much more with it.

What an uneventful day.

I am so sorry for not posting all day yesterday. I was super sick and spent my whole Friday in bed. x.x

I'm a little better now (except for my throat).

I'm back from my overnight trip. Posting once I finished with my post.

Sorry for not posting yet. I'm feeling all sorts of depressed right now, and it kind of came out of nowhere. I'll try to get a post out today, I just don't know when.

Well, I saw the debate in the Danube thread and read some of Campfire when I was still a lurker, but I'm still confused. Why do (some) of the Shared Story partcipants feel the need to run away from being associated with the participants in these threads? I understand that some of them see the Shared Story threads as having slightly different goals, but why the virulent hatred some of them have? What happened?

I'd still like a review as to what's going on in the Shared Story Campfire.

I also have no idea what's the different between the CD Ts and the Shared Story threads. Or the hate, really.

RE: The CDTs and SSTs: the SSTs are intended to be what the CDTs once were — anarchic, disorganized, and free-wheeling. Whether that time was a dark age of masturbatory power-slinging and Shyamalan-esque Shocking Swerves or a golden age of creativity and risk-taking depends on who you ask. My own opinion obviously tends towards the former. As for the "hate"... well, I haven't been by the SSTs recently, but to the best of my knowledge, that's just a vocal minority.

We never really got a straight answer from any of the SST people about why the current threads no longer met their needs; most of their objections to them were either clearly frivolous or effectively countered by what was actually going in the CD threads at the time.

I would have asked one of them, but I didn't want to disrupt Campfire, reviving Danube seemed like a bad idea, and even they seem to have some differences to sort out among themselves.

@Nrjxll: Ah, before I forget. Re-integrating your characters — maybe they got called back to the ship for something, silently slipped away, and are just now returning?

Going back to my question from before, what should I do in Dig Site? Just pick up where I left off and ignore the events between then and now?

I'll try to post tomorrow. I'm seriously not feeling well right now.

Should work, though keeping in mind that Marion's called everyone in towards the tomb we're supposed to be looting.
