Sidebar space? Does flipping the Wide Load switch help?
Yeah, you're right, I do want a 'Back To Writer's Block' button at the bottom.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."This whole new layout is very, very disorienting.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.Wide load helps as always, but the sidebar is still twice as wide as the old one. On longer pages (say, any CDT page beyond 4 posts), there's just a bunch of empty gray space after the sidebar ends.
Also, if you folks don't know yet, there's a switch in your profile to put the sidebar back on the left.

this place needs me hereWhat is this.
What is this layout.
What is going on I don't like it.
I wish there was some kind of middle ground between wide load and regular mode. Or a slider even.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.I knew it was coming, but holy carp that sidebar is huuuuuuuuuge.
Go on your profile, and you're able to switch the side bar to the left. It's less huge that way.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.Already did and set to wide load. It's still like 20 percent or more of the screen (testing without wide load shows it's like a third).
Welp, just finished filing some bug reports and wishlist entries.
The Sticky Header switch doesn't seem to do anything on Mobile; regardless of what position the switch is in, the header sticks. So if I'm reading the forums in landscape and scroll up, more than an inch of my screen is taken up by the TVT header, and iOS Chrome's header.◊ Also, avatars are way too huge on Mobile.◊ It's kind of ironic, I wanted an iPhone mainly so I could read TV Tropes on the go, but reading Writer's Block in any orientation absolutely sucks right now.
Although I just learned that forum gingerbread settings are device-specific, not account-specific. Turning it off on mobile makes reading WB with its frequent long-ass posts kind of tolerable again.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Gave my feedback.
Basically, I hate it. My main issue, besides the unnecessary wide space, wonky buttons, and (imo) bad color scheme, is the fact that the "back" button is at the top rather than the bottom, so it's a pain in the ass to scroll all the way back up. Especially since the posts here specifically tend to be very long. -_-
Also, I don't know if it's just my computer specifically, but sometimes the site scrolls down all the way to the bottom even though I'm not scrolling. :/
Yeah, I'm not having any scrolling issues. That may be your mouse/trackpad.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Ok, got that fixed.
My other points still stands, though.
Don't worry, it's all over the bug reporter.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Using the desktop site on mobile (didn't like the mobile site) makes the sidebar issue nearly comical.
This is with wide load.
this place needs me hereSuper late on this first point, but Gault, I hope my character's reaction to yours didn't play a huge role in your dropping out. I personally thought the Mountain Pass group would have been interesting to interact with. Blair, on the other hand, is mistrustful and fairly often a jerk. Between the two, though, I had to play my character.
The layout: I saw it in its early stages, so I'm not surprised by it. In fact, believe it or not, it's an improvement over what I saw. The placement of some things, for one, but primarily the fact that everything you see as grey, was previously blue. It was all very blue.
Edit: And what I actually came here to say was that I'll be posting for Frontier early tomorrow. I'm much too tired tonight, especially since my post there has a forecast of 20% chance of Fae sass.

Uh oh, that's the worst kind of sass there is.
this place needs me hereMy posts have been taking too long to write lately, for some reason. I may or may not manage anything for Dream until tomorrow.
Yay, the forum navigation buttons at the bottom of the page are back!
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."The "no avatar" avatar looks super ridiculous now.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...Nrj, Daird, you're wearing lampshades on your heads now.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."*hic* don't worry guysh, I'm gonna post shoon *hic*

Don't drink and trope, kids.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Speaking of which... well, five fucking years after my expected graduation date, I am finally, officially, a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. (Don't ask, long story, lots of bullshit.) Suffice it to say, I am celebrating this in my family's traditional manner: uncorking a large bottle of alcohol I have been saving for this occasion and savoring it.
Mostly I just wanted to announce that, but it may also be a while before I'm fit to post.

Congratulations!
I'd like my "return to writer's block/back" button at the bottom of the page, thank you. And all that gray sidebar space... blegh.
Got it. I guess that's just more push for me to figure out what Rip is up to, and to sort out the remnants of Joseph's disappearance. All right... all right...
