Does anyone know where I might be able to still download this game? I know it's a fan game but it looks really fun based on the walkthroughs and I really want it for my mac.

a quick google search of portal prelude should give it to you in the first link. Just make sure you have a steam version of Portal because that's the only one it's compatible with.

The first link that comes up is the one on the official site. But I thought they said Portal Prelude was no longer available...

Oh wait, that's the support only. Game, I guess, is still available. NVM.smile

Anyone else played this mod before?

ALL OF MY HATE

TEST CHAMBER NINE

Screw this mod. Portal had a few jumping puzzles....but not pixel-fucking-precision jumping puzzles.

I apologize for being brutally honest, but I hate this mod. And I'm not the only one.

Also, I hope you enjoy computers imitating humans, because you get that as a voice instead of a human imitating a computer.

I know I'm probably the only one who thinks this but I thought they actually nailed G La DOS' voice very close.

And again, yeah people complain about the difficulty levels but this is for Advanced Portal players only. Beating it's not impossible.

I had a rough time with it, oh my freaking god Chamber 17. And also 9 was difficult, because I was never really introduced to that skill before then. It's a useful ability, chaining hops down to increase momentum to gain height from a different portal. Pity I was doing it on a trackpad and a computer that had no business playing Portal: Prelude. Or Portal. Or anything in the Source Engine after '06.

I finished that game. My god. The last chamber is just painful. Seriously. Fucking. Moving. Platforms. I liked that game though. The voice acting reminds me of House of the Dead 2 just for that.

That last room was so cool though! Sure getting into it was an absolute pain, but when you get that room down to a science, you feel so awesome.

Ridiculously difficult, but I still love it anyways because it's...Portal!

I have it on my Desura. Haven't been on there for quite a while though...

I now go by Graf von Tirol.
