Ao no Exorcist

Kind of an anti-climax really, with the illuminati just leaving the place when they had plenty of agents and lucifer himself, and pig face not being unequivically dead, but the "epilogue" is pretty good and I love it when the antagonists are in control on what they are doing.

Still, i can't see this ending any time soon at this rate, I hope the author doesn't stick with her original plan which would mean only two more story arcs.

Double post since nobody else seems up for it, but keep in mind that chapter 64 was out on the new year and chapter 65 should come up next week.

There isn't a english translation scan for ch 64, but to sum up the biggest event shima became an illuminatti as a mission from the myoda sect, but the question remains on who's side he's really on. Pig face gets killed by lucifer who gets a cape to match mephisto's aboard their own helicarrier

It really wasn't obvious at all.

New chapter was pretty quick, and it shows two things.

One, shima deserves some sort of pantheon position for being the ultimate double;quadruple;whatever spy.

And two, Yukio is this series prime yaoi, or perhaps interracial bait, considering his interactions with various demons.

I don't know with this guy any more.

Fuck him.

He's just enjoying his job. You're just jealous you don't enjoy your job as much as Shima does.

What in the hell is going on with Shima? Whose side is he on? Is he even on a side? Slippery as an eel, that Shima.

This is why I'm going to stop trying to figure it out and say fuck him.

I'm just gonna see how it plays out for here on in.

If it ends up killing some of his friends then so be it.

He's living his dream.

Chapter 68:

Well, I don't think any of us expected the hot springs trip to go any differently.

I'm reminded of that one filler beach episode of the anime where Shima gets slotted into the 'pervy best friend' role. I remember thinking that it was a really annoying Flanderization.

So this chapter had me annoyed at first, but then I started smiling when I realized that the Flanderization was very much intentional.

Nope, they showed some of the nipple. Not the whole thing though.

I'll admit, the monkey demons were a bit of a surprise, but the hijinx had to get started somehow.

So, who do you think is gonna be the focus of the next arc, is it perhaps shiemi's turn? She is probably the least developed character so far.
