I believe Darth Wiki had suffered minor Trope Decay. Here is part of the description:

Emphasises added. While the majority of Darth Wiki fits this definition, with the recent exile of troublesome tropes like Wallbanger and Narm, which are mostly not misleading information, entertaining lies, and definately not Just For Fun.

Maybe an expansion is in order to add Flame Bait-type tropes as one of Darth Wiki's specialities.

I agree that the situation of Darth Wiki needs to be reconsidered, and I may add, egregiously. It is suppossed to be for entertainment and misinformation, but there are a good number of bad things being moved over there that are going to rub the wrong way if ever a decision to close or evict that part of the site is reached.

1.- How come Fo RKS be part of Darth Wiki and SPOON doesn't? I think that is indicative of the site's mentality towards (stupidizing) trope renames in the Trope Repair Shop, among other things.

2.- Why are things like what has been mentioned above thrown into Darth Wiki? it adds to a particular perception that whatever is found under that flag of the site is... "not welcome". Which affects things like Just for Fun.

3.- Then we have things like Non-Existent Fiction Recommendations and Idiot Programming (which I think was Horrible/Software), which I'm sure don't fit there neither by the current definition nor by the "things we don't want in the site" "rule" (note the quotes). But then again, I'm also definitively sure I don't know where do they fit. They're not even Trivia... And then again, I seem to recall Title Bin Rejects was once there, but I'm probably mistaken.

2. If Darth wiki becomes a dumping ground then we can easily move Just for Fun stuff out.

Okay, so people agree with my more subjective opinion.

Darth Wiki needs some fixing. I should be "Tongue-in-cheek Evil" instead of "a dumping ground for Flame Bait YMMV and complaining". We have to jettison the negative audience reactions elsewhere, before they corrupt Darth Wiki even more.

And get Narm out of there.

Had it stayed on mission from the start, Sugar Wiki would seem an incomprehensible concept.

Eh a lot of people seem to miss that "misinformation" part. I remember when I made You Know The Thing Wheres for Darth Wiki and got people angry for spreading lies about their favorites shows and posting flame bait. It'd be different if they just said I wasn't funny but only a few even seemed to get the point at all, like making a Darth Wiki page was inconceivable. Who would want to make a dumping ground page?

My solution is much easier. Leave the filth, leave wall banger and So bad it's horrible but

That's a good solution, separating the "dumping ground" stuff from the Just for Fun stuff. If it was my decision to make, I would move the "dumping ground" pages to a whole other namespace, but when I brought that up before, it was shot down.

I recall that suggestion, and I supported it.
