On the topic of the chatroom, I personally favor the 3-chat solution. Seeing as the present OT mode has A): Not been terribly effective. B): Seems to be incapable of not chasing players out of the chat whenever it pops up. Of course, it kinda has been poorly policed, so...

But yeah, 3 chats please.

Also: Please note that OT means OT. If we do use the OT system, the moderation will likely have to be quite strict.

Which is why I'm voting for splitting the chatrooms. The less vigilant the mods have to be, the better.

All splitting the chat will do is make a dead room. If the OT model is chasing people out of the chat, it's because they don't feel like being OT at the moment. That's not a flaw in the design, it's just a matter of fact. If you're not interested in the topic at hand, and can't talk about anything else, you're going to leave.

Wolf: That's part of the reason we should split the chat. So the people that don't want to be OT can continue their conversations, and the ones that do can discuss in peace.

But where did the number 3 come from?

To be fair (shot by Tracer for stealing his catchphrase), the "Chasing people out of the chat" doesn't seem to be the main issue. It's more that the OT system appears to be causing bad feelings, and is really pretty hard to maintain. Almost everything pretty much just gets tabled as opposed to actually resolved.

Oh right, I completely forgot about the Needs Love chat. Silly me.

In light of recent(or should I say current.) events, I am now voting for three chats.

I used to be ambivalent but no more. OT model simply did not work out, and that pretty much worsened the issue. So I vote splitting into three chatrooms.

Those of us who want to dedicate to working the RP should not have to feel like we are chasing other people out, that's a true thing. We still have the basic issue that people who want to discuss RP stuff either have to ask and wait an eternity because their question sinks in a sea of overused memes, references to YOUR FACE and KH fanfic smut in the worst case, or barge their way in, force an OT and see as the rest of the people simply get out.

Redirecting natter to a third chatroom seems to be the best idea. If we want to develop an idea, we should post in Discussion, then use the planning chatroom (whose dynamics certainly help a lot, it's not something Discussion can provide), then bring in results.

And I understand but not approve that some people leave as soon as an OT kicks in but then please don't complain that we don't accommodate afterwards — we simply can't read your minds. That's why a reminder (if it hasn't been done to death already): whatever the result, the chatroom is NOT the final word! Results should be brought up in Discussion for further consideration.

Anyway, repeating my vote for a #waapt, #natter, #waapters-need-love model.

For an actual things-happening-in-RP topic: What are we going to do now that Jet has won? Because I honestly don't have a clue.

Have Rayquaza show up and claim the trophy? o3o

Have Team Ozone succeed in expanding the sky. o3o

Now that Team Ozone has the trophy, what about it being involved in a switcheroo with a fake Ozone Operative? Could be a Magma, Aqua or even Greedy Golett (it kinda would make sense).

This! Will make for an interesting sort-of-chase.

Let's see... Some of the different teams start fighting over the trophy, when the Greedy Golett suddenly swoops down riding Sunshine Smiles the Hydreigon and take the trophy, only for Sunshine Smiles to be hit in the face with a pie due to a misfire of the catapult Sierra's Eevee and Plusle built, causing it to fall into a river and get eaten by a Whiscash? (and somehow it gets even weirder from there? :P)
