Fire Emblem wasted all that goodwill from the homosexual options by including a severely homophobic romance path.

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.FE Fates being a horrible waste of development time and hype doesn't mean people are suddenly going to start hating Awakening. And seriously, I'm getting sick of your overreacting, and I doubt I'm the only one. Calm down.
I'm going back to sleep now.

...huh?
Another green world. If you don't mind spoilers, seek out the Fates spoiler thread and rewind about 10 pages and read from there.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Guys, guys. Everyone here needs to calm down.
I'm having to learn to pay the pricePIRATES
Right then. I would VERY MUCH appreciate it if we got this started.
As such, I have an idea for an initial event.
BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD PLOTS, can we start actually getting this rolling.
edited 2nd Jul '15 10:15:22 AM by BluBeriPi
Beri, please be patient. There are several people who wanted to participate but are unavailable to at the moment.
I'm itching to go, too, but yeah, if we started without Crewe or Dune it would be kinda a dick move.
Another green world.Two things...
One, I'm not retiring Robin. General consensus is the FE Fates debacle has little to do with him and likely won't affect him meta-wise so... Yeah, he's staying.
Second is I should probably go into more detail about exactly what has been keeping me away from the RP for the past month or so.
Around May 20th or so (it was right after I finished Truth, I remember) my left hand/fingers/arm started twitching and convulsing involuntarily, nonstop. Often, the level of convulsions got so bad it became extremely uncomfortable and I can't focus on other things or even sleep. And to make things worse it started actually getting painful soon after. The nature of the pain is difficult to accurately describe, but to sum it up best I can it feels like some large carnivorous animal is trying to rip the flesh off my arm and fingers. It's extremely painful and during pain episodes I'm often screaming in agony and/or begging someone to cut my arm off.
Thankfully the pain can be quelled mostly or even entirely by some of my meds... but that's where the good news ends.
See, the doctors have no freaking idea what's causing it. They thought it was my meds, then they thought it was something in my brain, and they've been doing all sorts of medical voodoo and nothing's really working. Any lessening of the symptoms turns out to be temporary, they prescribe new meds and it just keeps repeating itself, and worst of all the convulsions themselves never actually stop, just are lessened occasionally.
And then two weeks ago they took me off most of my psychological meds because they thought it would improve the symptoms but that just made things worse since the twitching persisted and the withdrawal symptoms from losing the psychological meds just made the rest of my body sick. I feel drained and sluggish, and I frequently get the urge to vomit for no reason- in fact I can't eat large meals anymore because I just barf them up. Most days I have no energy to do anything but sleep (when the convulsing's at its low points) or binge Tumblr on my phone (when it's at its high points).
So yeah, I've been extremely ill and miserable and in no state to RP- which is really frustrating because I was gonna use this part of the arc to do very important things and am very worried about you all moving on without me even though this is completely out of my control. Right now all I want more than anything is to get this cured ASAP so I can get back to doing what I swore I'd do nearly a year ago.
(And yes, because of my arm this was incredibly difficult to type.)

Medical issues like that are never fun to deal with, for either the patient or the doctor. Speaking from personal experience.
Best of luck, with the blessings of Hermes.

- Str: B
- End: B
- Agi: A
- Mag: C
- Luk: E
- Noble Phantasm: C
- Class Skills: Skills granted by the class the Servant is summoned as:
If summoned as a Saber:
- Magic Resistance: A :Cancel spells of A-Rank or below. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer".
- Riding: B: Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts.
If Summoned as a Berserker
- Magic Resistance: C: Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.
- Mad Enchantment: C: Rank up for all parameters except Luck and Mana, but in exchange one can no longer think and speak properly.
- Personal Skills: Skills Granted because of the history or personality of the spirit summoned.
- Battle Continuation: A: Makes possible to fight even with deadly injuries and can remain alive so long as one does not receive a decisive fatal wound.
- Eye of the Mind (True): A: Capable of comprehensive analysis of battle conditions even when in danger or near death, and deduce the optimal course of action while considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long as victory is not impossible under any circumstance, the bearer of this skill will always have a great chance of victory.
- Guardian Knight: C: Countless trials have conditioned the Servant to fight harder while protecting others, when defending another, Agility and Endurance each increase one rank.
- Noble Phantasm
- Shroud of Obscurity: A Ranked anti-unit Noble Phantasm, a dark navy hooded jacket, gained from suffering and marks the wearers lack of acknowledgment on the path that led them to become a hero, a proof of anonymity. Hides the user's parameters from observation, as well as the wearer's skills and permanently shrouds their weapon in a fog of magic darkness. So long as it's worn however, the user cannot make use of any other Noble Phantasms or the Guardian Knight skill.
- Regis Crepusculum: "King of Dusk" B Ranked Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm, using this seals Shroud of Obscurity. The blade of the checkered King, it ignores the effects of all defensive Noble Phantasms and Skills by effectively cutting the actions of battle out of time, skipping from the opening game to the opponents checkmate, placing the target in a situation of sure-death. Agility nor great endurance will change this fate, rather, a sufficient amount of Luck or Divine ability must be met for there to be a chance of survival.
Hey guys, I know I mentioned this in chat the other day, I just wanted to keep posting this, because I'm kinda desperate.
If you guys can help in any way, just spreading the link, I'd really appreciate it.
