Eh I really don't see how the Rage Arts are so similar to other games. Other than maybe Samurai Showdown....
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92Wow Claudio looks a shit load like Maxi from Soul Calibur.
Rage Arts are just supers with a different kind of meter (your health bar).
this place needs me hereSo the Desperation Moves from early SNK games?
Pretty much except they have Armor and you can get killed out of them if your health is low enough. Apparently rage damage is gone.
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92I'll take that trade. I hated the Rage system in T6 & TTT 2.
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either. In regards to Lei's story in T6, where it is mentioned riots started in Hong Kong due to machinations by the Mishima Zaibatsu, can we call it Harsh in Hindsight in light of what's going on in Hong Kong?
Agreed with the detractors - really not feeling the street fighter supers at all.
But flash is everything when it comes to catching casuals, so I guess it could be good for the game.
Claudio looks incredibly lame with that anime magic bow and arrow bullshit, too.

Hell yeah. You guys weren't there but I got to show off my Jinpachi kitted out as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. Its fucking rad.
So the arcade release is February 5th.[1]
That's pretty quick, might see a console release in 2015 after all.

Given the fact T7 was announced on the franchise's 20th anniversary, think we'll get the console versions on March 31, 2015, 20 years after T1 came out on PS 1?
No chance, maybe in dreams.
Winter 2015 is the earliest I'd give it.
The average arcade to console port rate is a year or more, so yeah, late 2015 to early 2016 for consoles.
Anyone here liking this "Happy 20th Anniversary trailer?"
Magic bow and whhhhhaaaaa? Tekken always had serious cornball stuff but this looks even worse.
Oh wow, so Tekken x Street Fighter hasn't been cancelled.

AHAHAHAHA lol this is the big game equivalent of a fanfic author who only updates his long not-updated fanfic just to say "The fic's not dead, guys!" When that happens, that's the death knell.
Least Tekken 7 is still a thing.
Unlike bad fanfics, games tend to still be produced despite such notices.
Also, hasn't Harada and co kinda always prioritized other games over it? I mean, when the crossover was first announced, they were focused on Tag 2, now they are focused on Tekken 7, etc. I'm surprised they are as far as they are, since X Street Fighter doesn't seem to be a priority.
Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason it's even properly announced was because they wanted to announce both it and its Street Fighter counterpart at the same time, despite both being at different levels of development and given different levels of priority by their developers.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.True.
Well hopefully once Tekken 7's more or less done we'll finally start seeing more of Namco's side of the crossover.
They are/were also working on Pokken and Summer Lesson (why is part of the Tekken dev team working on the latter anyway).

Can we call Jack-6 arming himself with a drill in his T6 ending a Call-Back to Prototype Jack having a drill in T1?
Not feeling the supers, looks tacked on; said the same exact thing about DOA's power blows. Chasing that 2D fighter money I see.
Could've at least made some throwing Rage Arts.
