Sorry to double-post, but I just had to add this:
Saw the DVD case in an HMV yesterday and laughed at its existence.

Okay, but don't knock it till you try it.

I don't have to. Harada tried it, and knocked it into next Tuesday.
There's like 5 characters from Tekken in it too, according to IMDB, so it's just another generic action movie for the most part.
Hehe, word of mouth is good enough reason to not try it.
In the interest of adding to the conversation, thank you Hashil for providing a link to the animated Tekken movie. I've been meaning to watch that for a while, ever since I heard about the invisible velociraptors.
Invisible Velociraptors will appear as enemies for Tekken 7's equivalent of Tekken Force/Devil Within/Scenario Campaign

Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierVelociraptors? Don't you mean Allosauruses?
My mistake. Apparently, Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge is a prequel, and the only Tekken characters in it are Kazuya, Heihachi and Bryan Fury. How can it be Kazuya's revenge if it's a prequel?
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierHis dad's been a prick for a long, long time. And he threw him off the cliff when he was like 9.
Then again why torture yourself by thinking about the plot lol
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92None of that. Just watch the movie, because I don't want to spoil.
.... That's from the main game Tekken storyline. The one you've been asking amazingly specific questions about for the longest.
Side note, GG and thanks to Cerulean_7 and Blizzard Hazard for the games last night.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI was referring to the movies, because I'll say this about the movies: There's no throwing at the cliff.
Apologize for double-posting, but where exactly did this◊ originate from?
Idk, don't remember seeing it before

Rage arts, eh? They sound like an all-or-nothing Limit Break that you would see in a 2-D fighter.
It's weird to think of Tekken games having moves like that. I'm used to the characters having all their attacks available at any given time. Not that I'm complaining.

They're basically supers that are available in a rage state rather than when the super meter is full (since Tekken has no super meter). I don't like what I've seen of them. I've always loved Tekken's non-stop action, and this doesn't really seem to jibe well with that.

this place needs me hereit really doesnt take away from that.....
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92I'd love to see an option to turn them off, not because I have anything in particular against them. It just seems like a good way to avert the inevitable complaints the whole system will bring.
Comeback Mechanics or Desperation Attacks are always a finicky subject in fighters. I could understand why people that take the game seriously would worry. At the same time, if Harada and his team want to introduce new ideas to their system, all the power to them I say.
Also, some are guessing that it's a way to stealthily prepare Tekken players for the Hyper Combos that the Street Fighter cast will need for Tekken X Street Fighter.

Actually Comeback mechanics hurt lower level play more than it does higher level...
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92I just don't like seeing these fighting games become so homogenized. I think I could count the modern fighters that don't have supers on one hand.
this place needs me here
First of all, given that it was mentioned that Jin was threatening the colonies, and given the architecture in the colony that is falling, wouldn't anti-Mishima Zaibatsu rebels have grabbed a resort colony and used it for their Colony Drop? Second, doesn't Namco care about story? I mean, we got all those prologues for characters that we've been treated to since T4?
