Even the caption admits it's a case of I thought it meant: Water Works

Seriously, it may be the trope namer but it can be confusing. We need an example.

I don't think there's any potential for confusion here. It's pretty obvious that it's a joke image. We may be able to do better, but no need to pull it.

Isn't there a scene from Looney Tunes like this? I remember that one short with the Penguin where Bugs invokes this trope by name.

Wait, what's the difference between this and Ocular Gushers?

Water Works has to do with the showing of weakness and more about the emotion. Ocular Gushers is more about the insane amount of water in those tears.

Water Works could even be a single tear. And Ocular Gushers could be humourous.

Perhaps we can find a picture of someone crying, and then wiping at their tears angrily? The current picture isn't even a good joke.

Would panels 6 and 7 from this Girl Genius strip be sufficient?

How about this bundle of Madoka Kaname pics? Held in contempt for crying... a lot, That sounds about right for her.

I think panel 6 alone in Girl Genius could work. We could use Sob! Sob! Sob! (etc.) as the caption.

[up] Hmm... the trope doesn't say whether the character In-universe is held in contempt or not, but Madoka gets a lot of flak from the viewers for crying a lot. No one in the series itself says anything about it.

What about that Monopoly pic with a Pot Hole to Visual Pun? Or an actual waterworks with the same pot hole?
